(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The two-step method has been used for large-sized objects to be packaged, but as the size of the objects to be packaged continues to increase, the method described above becomes more difficult. Several problems arise.

First, when the wrapping paper has a huge selvage, its weight causes the top and bottom selvages to droop downwards before the rear and front edges are folded. In other words, when the height of the packaged object exceeds 0.5m and the length reaches several meters, the width and length of the wrapping paper will also increase, and the weight of the package will increase. also becomes larger.

If this happens, the upper and lower edges will hang downward before the rear and front edges are folded.

As shown in FIG. 10, if the upper and lower ears 10 and 11 near the rear and front ears 8 and 9 hang down, they will interfere with the folding device and the rear and front ears will be folded. is not possible. However, it is not economically viable to change the texture or specifications of the wrapping paper so that it has sufficient rigidity to prevent it from sagging, even at such widths and lengths.

Second, as the packaged object becomes longer, even if the upper edge is folded with a folded plate, the upper edge will pass through the folded plate 1, and when the force pressing it against the side edge surface is removed, the edge will recover somewhat. The problem is that it separates from the side end surface. In other words, a certain amount of space is provided between the side end surface of the packaged object and the diamond-shaped folded plate with the upper edge folded to prevent the side end surface and the folded plate from coming into too strong contact and damaging the wrapping paper. I have to keep it.

However, when the object to be packaged is long and has a long distance to be transported, it is necessary to leave a large gap between the objects. However, because this gap is large, the fold of the wrapping paper is not folded at a right angle, which has a small restoring force, and the upper edge 10 is folded on four sides with a curvature that has a large restoring force, as shown in FIG. If it moves away from 7, it will become an obstacle to the next step, which is folding the bottom edge.

For Komazo, there is a problem with the lower edge of the lower edge when folding the lower edge. If the selvage is huge and its weight is large, and there is a large gap between the packaged object and the folded plate, if the bottom selvage is folded, the entire bottom selvage will not be folded upward.
As shown in the figure, a part of the dowel end hangs downward from the gap.

The present invention makes it possible to use wrapping paper with lower rigidity even as the size of the packaged object increases! This was done in order to solve the above-mentioned problem that occurs in J.

(Means for Solving the Problem) The present invention places a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped packaged object on a wrapping paper cut out from a paper coil, wraps the wrapping paper around the package and applies glue, and then Automatic packaging in which the vertical edges of the wrapping paper that protrude from the edges and the upper edges are folded, the paper edge of the lower edge is glued, the lower edge is further folded in, and the edges are glued at the glued parts. It is a device that wraps the wrapped paper in a single layer around the object to be packaged, and then uses a movable support mechanism in the shape of an ear to stop the wrapping. A trailing edge folding device folds the trailing edge of the wrapping paper wrapped in the conveying direction of the packaged object from the rear end side toward the front; A front edge folding device that folds the front edge from the front end side toward the rear; a top edge folding device that folds the top edge from the top side toward F direction while conveying the packaged object through a conveyance line; and a top edge folded edge. a top edge holding device for holding the edges at the folded lower edge position; a gluing device for gluing the paper edge of the bottom edge of the packaged articles before being conveyed through a conveyance line; The lower end lug is folded upward from the lower end of the end face of the packaged object using a folding plate equipped with a sliding member at the tip, and the lower end lug that protrudes from the upper limit of the height of the packaged object is folded and bonded onto the upper surface of the packaged object. The edge folding device is used for automatic packaging of large rectangular parallelepipeds, and the edge folding device is used for automatic packaging of large rectangular parallelepipeds. 0 It must have a support mechanism to maintain the box shape formed with the ears, and this support mechanism must move in synchronization with the packaged object until just before folding the front edge. , an upper edge holding device that holds the folded upper edge at the folded lower edge position is followed by the upper edge folding device, and the lower edge folding operation is performed on a stationary long object to be packaged. This is done by moving the lower edge folding device, and the lower edge folding device rubs the lower edge against the side edge surface of the packaged object to prevent sagging. A long folded plate with a length equal to or longer than the length of the object to be packaged, with a sliding body attached to its tip that rubs the edges, moves the lower end edge of the paper with glue to the lower edge of the object to be packaged. The main feature is that the package is folded upward from the top, and then the lower edge protruding from the upper limit of the height of the packaged object is folded over and bonded to the top surface of the packaged object.
