Traditionally, as an automatic rainfall measuring device, especially in remote areas, a tipping basin type rain gauge is equipped with a measuring basin below a water receiver that falls over every time a certain amount of water is measured, and measures the amount of rainfall by measuring the number of times the water falls over. meter is used.

However, in this type of rain gauge, there is generally a space between the water receiver and the measuring well to ensure that the rainwater dripping from the water receiver is received, and the fine dust contained in the rainwater is precipitated and removed before the rainwater drips into the measuring well. However, since the water collection port of the water filter has a structure in which the lower end of a thin pipe connected to the lower end of the funnel-shaped body is cut diagonally, especially in areas where ash falls, ash lumps etc. There was a problem in that foreign matter clogged the water collection port, making measurement impossible.

This invention was devised in view of the above problem, and it prevents the water filter from becoming clogged with ash fall, etc.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a rain gauge having a drip guide structure that reliably drips rainwater collected by a water receiver into a measuring basin located below the water filter.

The rain gauge according to the present invention has a structure in which the water collection port of the filter main body is configured with a large hole diameter to allow passage of ash lumps, etc., and the water droplets flowing down the inner wall of the filter are concentrated at one point. The gist is
A tipping basin type rain gauge that is equipped with a measuring basin below a funnel-shaped water receiver via a water filter that overturns and discards water at regular intervals, and measures the amount of rainfall by counting the number of times the measuring basin falls over. In terms of diameter, a drop guide structure is constructed of a plurality of linear bodies whose lower ends are collectively fixed to the water collection port on the funnel of the water leaker in a pointed shape.

That is, in the rain gauge configured as described above, rainwater falling in the water receiver drips into the water filter, flows down along the inner wall of the water filter main body, and flows from the inner wall to the linear body at the lower end of the water collection port. It will drip from the tip. However, since the linear body is made up of a plurality of linear bodies that are collectively fixed at the tip, the rainwater dripping from the filter is collected at one point and drips accurately into the measuring basin. In addition, since the above-mentioned drip guide structure is composed of a plurality of linear bodies, the water collection port of the water filter can be made large to allow foreign matter such as ash lumps and pebbles that have fallen into the water filter to pass through and be removed. This makes it possible to measure rainfall continuously.

In the drawing, 1 is a cylindrical body protruding from the upper surface of the base 2, and the base 3 fixed to the upper end is
It has a predetermined opening area suitable for measurement. Reference numeral 4 denotes a water receiver inserted into a relatively upper part of the body 1, and the water receiver 4 includes a funnel 5 with a drip pipe 6 protruding from the lower end.
It is composed of a filtration net 7 made of a coarse mesh provided on the water receiving surface of the funnel 5 and a filtration net 8 made of a thin mesh provided near the dripping pipe 6. Also,
A circular hole 10 is bored at the top of the base plate 9 protruding from the base 2, located below the drip pipe 6 of the water receiver 4, and a funnel-shaped hole of the water strainer 11 is formed in the circular hole 10. The main body 12 is inserted from above and placed in a removable manner. The water filter 11 has a funnel-shaped main body 12 with a water collection port 13 having a relatively large diameter.
A droplet guiding structure is constituted by a plurality of (four in this embodiment) linear bodies 14 whose lower ends are collectively fixed to the tip 3 in a tip shape. 15, 15 is a support shaft 16 relative to the substrate 9.
This is a tipping type measuring basin that is pivotably pivoted through the measuring basin 15, and when a certain amount of rainwater accumulates in the measuring basin 15, it oscillates and falls over within a predetermined range around the support shaft 16 to drain the accumulated rainwater. The water filters are discarded and alternately positioned below the water filter 11, and electrical pulses are generated every time the water is oscillated to measure the amount of water received. Reference numeral 17 denotes a washing water injection pipe which is fixedly installed above the water receiver 4 of the body 1 so as to cross a diameter portion sufficiently lower than the mouthpiece 3, and is attached to the side of the pipe inside the body 1. A large number of injection holes 18, 18, . The port 19 and the cleaning water tank are communicated, water is passed through the cleaning water injection pipe 17 at non-measurement timing, and the injection hole 1 is connected to the cleaning water tank.
The cleaning water spouted from 8 can flush out and remove dirt such as ash adhering to the water receiver 4, water filter 11, and measuring basin 15.

In the rain gauge configured as described above, when there is precipitation, rainwater that falls on the opening area of the cap 3 flows down along the funnel 5 of the water receiver 4 and drips into the water filter 11 via the drip pipe 6. Rainwater dripping into the water filter 11 flows down along the inner wall of the water filter main body, passes through the linear body 14 from the inner wall at the water collection port 13, and drips from the tip into the measuring basin 15 located below. At the same time, when a certain amount of rainwater accumulates in the measuring basin 15, it swings and falls over a predetermined range about the support shaft 16, discharging the accumulated rainwater, and at the same time generates electrical pulses.

The water filter 11 has a drip guide structure consisting of four linear bodies 14 connected to the water collection port 13, so that the rainwater dripping from the water filter 11 is collected at one point. The liquid is dripped accurately into the measuring chamber 15. In addition, since the water collection port 13 of the water filter main body 12 becomes large due to the droplet guide structure of the linear body 14,
Foreign matter such as ash lumps and pebbles that have fallen into the water filter 11 do not clog the water collection port 13, and together with the cleaning action of the washing water sprayed from the washing water injection pipe 17, measurement can be carried out continuously for a long period of time. It can be performed.

Since the rain gauge according to the present invention is constructed as described above, a plurality of linear wires whose lower ends are collectively fixed to a pointed shape are installed in the funnel-shaped water collection port of the water filter provided between the water receiver and the measuring basin. By configuring the drip guide structure consisting of a body, it is possible to configure the water collection port of the water filter body with a large hole diameter, and problems such as ash lumps etc. clogging this part will not occur. The practical effects after implementing this invention are extremely large.
