In the so-called curtain wall construction method, in which prefabricated exterior wall panels such as PC boards are attached to a steel-framed concrete frame using fasteners, gaps must be created between adjacent exterior wall panels for structural and aesthetic reasons. For this reason, after all the exterior wall panels are installed, the gaps, or joints, must be caulked to prevent rainwater from entering from outside. In this joint treatment, the shape of the joint part of the exterior wall panels is modified by interposing a draining board between the exterior wall panels, or by forming steps that can fit into each other at the top and bottom ends of the exterior wall panels. However, vertical joints cannot be treated in the same way as horizontal joints due to their structure.

Traditionally, vertical joints were treated as shown in Figure 6.
A backup material 22 such as sponge is applied to the joint 21 between the outer wall panels 20 and 20 in advance.
This is done by filling the front surface of the back-up material 22 with an oil-based caulking material 23, for example, a thiocol-based caulking material, after the entire outer wall panel is tensioned. In addition, 2 in the figure
4 is a fastener, 25 is a frame, 26 is a secondary seal, and 27 is an air pressure adjustment space.

The above method is mainly used for medium-to-high-rise buildings, but for low-rise steel-framed concrete houses up to 3 stories as shown in Figure 7, for example, ALC version is used as shown in Figure 8. Each time the outer wall panels 30, 30, etc. are stretched on the frame 31, reinforcing bars 33 are inserted into the joints 32 between the outer wall panels 30, 30, and concrete 34 is poured into the joints 32 as a backup material. Finally, this is done by filling the front surface of the concrete 34 with the caulking material 35 as described above.

Incidentally, the caulking filling work described above can be carried out without any problems if there is a wide space around the exterior wall, but in so-called narrow areas where other buildings are built around the exterior wall, it may be necessary to fill the caulking material with the exterior wall and the adjacent building. Since the space between the two is very narrow, the above-mentioned caulking material filling operation is almost impossible. In this case, the current situation is that workers apply caulk directly to their hands and fill only the joints within reach, making it impossible to avoid caulking defects.

In view of the above points, the present invention enables complete treatment of vertical joints between exterior wall panels even if there is no work space around the exterior wall, reduces vertical joint treatment process and processing materials, and further improves work efficiency. The purpose of this study is to provide a new vertical joint construction method that can achieve the desired results.

The gist of the present invention is to insert a lead wire from above or below into the vertical joint formed between exterior wall panels, and attach a long vertical joint material that is soft and has appropriate watertightness to the tip of the lead wire. The vertical joint construction method is characterized in that the lead wire is then pulled back and the vertical joint material is installed in the vertical joint.

1 to 3, the vertical joint construction method according to the present invention involves first attaching all the external wall panels 1 to the slab 3 or beam 4 of the frame 2 so that the vertical joints 5 are aligned vertically. A lead wire 7 is inserted into the vertical joint 5 from the rooftop 6, and the tip 8 of the lead wire 7 is pulled out from the lower end 5b of the vertical joint 5. Note that a notch 10 is provided in the foundation 9 at a location corresponding to the vertical joint 5 so that the tip 8 of the lead wire 7 can be easily pulled out. Next, after attaching the vertical joint material 11 to the tip 8 of the lead wire 7 pulled out from the lower end 5b of the vertical joint 5 via the guide member 12, the lead wire 7 is pulled up from the rooftop 6 and inserted into the vertical joint 5. The vertical joint material 11 is inserted. Then, when the lead wire 7 is pulled up until the tip of the vertical joint material 11 reaches the rooftop 6, that is, when the installation of the vertical joint material 11 is completed, the pulling is stopped, and finally the upper end 5a and the lower end 5b of the vertical joint material 5 are pulled up.
The vertical joint material 11 is cut, and the notch 10 of the foundation 9 is closed with mortar or the like to complete the vertical joint construction.

Further, the vertical joint material 11 is preferably made of an elastic material such as synthetic rubber, which is soft and has appropriate watertightness. As shown in FIG. 4, this vertical joint material 11 is a hollow elongated body with a substantially circular cross section, and a plurality of V-shaped grooves 11c are formed in the inner wall 11b of the hollow portion 11a in the axial direction. They are placed at appropriate intervals. This groove 11c gives appropriate elasticity to the vertical joint material 11 in the radial direction, so that when it is inserted into the vertical joint 5, it contracts in the radial direction and reduces the frictional resistance with the vertical joint 5. It is designed to restore watertightness in the radial direction. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, a screw 11d for mounting the guide member 12 is cut into the inner wall 11b of the hollow portion 11a at the tip of the vertical joint filler 11.
Incidentally, if a lubricant is applied to the entire outer circumferential surface of the vertical joint material 11, insertion into the vertical joint material 5 becomes easier.

The guide member 12 is made of metal or a hard synthetic resin material, and as shown in FIG. 11d and a body portion 12b having a male screw 12c carved thereon to be screwed together are integrally formed. The sharp part 12a
An attachment hole 12d for attaching the lead wire 7 is provided at the tip. This mounting hole 12d
To attach the lead wire 7, insert the tip 8 of the lead wire 7 into the attachment hole 12d, then tie a knot larger than the attachment hole 12d at the tip 8 of the lead wire 7.
This is done by engaging this knot with the attachment hole 12d.

The vertical joint construction method according to the present invention is not limited to installing vertical joint materials all at once over the entire length of the vertical joint after all the exterior wall panels have been stretched, as described above, but also by completing the work of constructing the exterior wall panels on each floor. You can go every time. Further, the direction of insertion of the vertical joint material may be either from above or from below.

As explained above, the present invention involves inserting a lead wire from above or below into a vertical joint formed between exterior wall panels, and forming a long vertical joint that is soft and has appropriate watertightness at the tip of the lead wire. After installing the material,
The lead wire is pulled back and the vertical joint material is installed inside the vertical joint, and the vertical joint is not treated from around the outer wall as in the past, so it is possible to completely treat the vertical joint even in narrow spaces. I can do it. Also,
Vertical joints can be treated without using any scaffolding or gondolas, making work safer, shortening construction time, and reducing construction costs. Furthermore, if the vertical joints are formed vertically in a straight line, it is possible to install the vertical joint material on all floors at once, making it extremely easy to work and significantly shortening the overall construction period for wall construction. It has excellent effects such as:
