Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure and stabilize the operation of fixing and adjusting the position of a hollow body product by supplying, using a hydraulic system including a heater, a pressure medium to a pressure chamber provided in combination with a product holding member, so that the holding member is raised and lowered. CONSTITUTION: A positioning means which makes contact with a product holding member 1 comprises a pressure chamber 7 made from a flexible material and corresponding walls 10, 11.A conduit 12 is connected to the internal space of the pressure chamber 7, and operating liquid (oil) can be fed thereto via a heater 13. The liquid is expanded by the heater 13 and its pressure is transmitted to the pressure chamber 7 whereby the holding member 1 accompanied by a product is pushed upward and displaced. Also, the heater 13 is shut off to lower the temperature of the pressure medium in the conduit 12 to lower the holding member 1. Further, a hydraulic system comprising the holding member 1, the pressure chamber 7, the conduit 12, the heater 13, and the like is arranged so that the other pressure chamber 7 comes to the opposite side to the holding member 1 to achieve long-term stable operation of the device.
