表面に立体感をもたせたものも知られているが、
この場合には発泡プラスチツクよりなるクツシヨ
ン材がウエルド型による加圧力と溶融により分断
されて所定の形状に保持され難く、このため、パ
ターン模様を有するクツシヨン層付表皮材とする
には補強用の裏基布を重ねた3層構造のものとし
なければならなかつた。

ツシヨン層の一部に帯状溶着部を形成するととも
に該クツシヨン層の裏面に該帯状溶着部により区
画される複数の膨出部を形成してなるクツシヨン
層付表皮材を基材の表面に被装したことを特徴と
するものである。

層の一部が溶融用の歯型により溶融された細幅の
帯状溶着部において溶着されているので、クツシ
ヨン層が溶着部分において分断されることなく充
分な強度をもつて表皮と一体化され、裏基布を使
用していないにもかかわらず裏基布を使用したも
のと同等またはそれ以上に強度的に優れたものと
なり、また、長期間にわたり形崩れすることもな
い。さらに、クツシヨン層の裏面は前記細幅の帯
状溶着部により複数の膨出部に区画されていてこ
の膨出部を基板に貼着された状態で被装されてお
り、全面接着でないので基板の表面が曲面であつ
ても皺寄ることがなく、帯状溶着部の発揮する保
形性と相まつてクツシヨン層付表皮材は基材に対
して適確な被装状態を確保することとなり、長期
間にわたつて優れた室内装飾効果を発揮するもの
である。

が形成されている。そして、クツシヨン層表皮材
2のうち表皮4の表面には前記歯型による幅が1
〜3mm程度の線状凹模様6が形成され、また、ク
ツシヨン層3の裏面は幅が3〜8mm程度で肉厚が
0.5〜2mm程度の細幅の帯状溶着部5により区画
された複数の膨出部7が形成されている。なお、
図示の繊維質のクツシヨン層3としては長さ50〜
70mm、太さ1.5〜2.4デニールのアクリル系樹脂と
塩化ビニル系樹脂との共重合繊維(例えば商品名
カネカロンSタイプー鐘渕化学社製)に針刺加工
を施してやや硬めに絡合させて厚さ5〜15mm程
度、重さ100〜450g/m2程度とした主層3aと該
共重合繊維を延綿状に絡合させた厚さ2〜6mm程
度の柔軟な表層3bとよりなるものとしており、
一方表皮4としては皮革や非溶融性の織布を使用
しているが、このようなものに限定されることは
ない。そして、このクツシヨン層付表皮材2は前
記膨出部7をもつて基材1に接着剤を介し部分的
に貼着されて該基材1と前記帯状溶着部5との間
に空隙8を形成している。

で、従来の車輌用内装材の問題点を解決したもの
として実用的価値極めて大なものである。
