を有する電気コネクタ5であつて、上記の計器収
容ケース2に設けた雌コネクタ3内には、雄コネ
クタ4のコネクタハウジング7に一体的に設けら
れた弾性レバー(ロツクアーム)9に設けられて
いる係止爪10と係止し得る係止孔8が設けられ
ており、雄コネクタ4を雌コネクタ3内に完全に
嵌着したとき、上記係止爪10が係止孔8内に係
止されて、両コネクタ3と4とが結合保持される
ものである。なお6は電線束、11は弾性レバー
9の先端部に設けられた把持部、12は雌接続
子、13はこの雌接続子12と接触する雄接続子
である。ところが、このような電気コネクタ5に
あつては、計器の組立て作業中において、計器収
容ケース2に設けられた係止孔8から計器収容ケ
ース2の内部に、ねじ等の部品を落したとき、こ
の部品が、振動等により異音を発生したり、また
この部品が導電体であるときは、電気回路を短絡
する等の欠点があつた。この欠点を解消するため
に、例えば第3図に示すように、部品の落込みを
防止できる細幅の係止孔8′を雌コネクタ3に設
けたり、あるいは第4図に示すように係止孔8の
裏側を包むカバー14をケース2と一体に設ける
ことが考えられているが、上記第3図で示す従来
例では、係止孔8′が細幅であるために、ロツク
アーム9も細幅となり、これによつて、両コネク
タ3,4におけるロツク機構の強度が低下する不
具合があり、また第4図に示す実施例では、ケー
ス2を成形する金型が複雑となり、製品が高価と
なつてしまう問題点があつた。
