重合硬化せしめられる場合が多いので、人体に悪
影響を及ぼすことのある紫外線や、人体に熱によ
る影響を与える赤外線を含まない可視光線によつ
て重合硬化する樹脂が使用される。このような感
光性樹脂に可視光線を照射するための歯科用可視
光線照射器としては、制御回路、トランス等より
成る電源部とランプ及び冷却フアン等とを一つの
大型の箱体内に設置しておきこの箱体に長い可撓
性を有するグラスフアイバー製の光の伝達・照射
部となるペンホルダー型ハンドピース部を取り付
けて使用するものと、箱体内に制御回路、トラン
ス等より成る電源部だけを内蔵せしめておきラン
プ及び冷却フアンを内蔵されていて先端に剛性の
高いグラスフアイバーロツドを取り付けたグリツ
プ型ハンドピース部を前記電源部にコードで接続
して使用するものとがあるが、これらの歯科用可
視光線照射器におけるハンドピース部はいずれも
前記箱体に設けられているハンガーに懸吊又は固
定された収納状態で手で持ち添えて運搬されるよ
うになつていた。

略平行に把持用押え溝を設ければよいことを究明
して本考案に係る歯科用可視光線照射器を完成し
たのである。 すなわち本考案は、電源部箱体の上側部に設け
られているハンガーに、先端にグラスフアイバー
ロツドが取り付けられており内部にランプ及び冷
却フアンが内蔵されていて前記電源部箱体とコー
ドで接続されているハンドピース部を該グラスフ
アインバーロツドが該電源部箱体の上表面と略平
行になる収納状態に懸吊させる歯科用可視光線照
射器であつて、前記電源部箱体のハンガーが設け
られている側面と略直交する両側面上部に該電源
部箱体の上表面と略平行に把持用押え溝が設けら
れていることを特徴とする歯科用可視光線照射器
を提供するものである。
