In the conventional holding device configured as described above, since the pusher 5 can be slightly displaced up and down, the bottom of the magazine 3 is fitted into the groove 4a of the magazine holding stand 4, and the magazine 3 is moved to the holding stand 4. When the magazine 3 is inserted between the magazine 3 and the pusher 5 (in the longitudinal direction of the magazine 3, that is, perpendicularly to the plane of the paper in FIG. 5), the magazine 3 is clamped with an appropriate response. It is also easy to pull out in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper. This conventional device can hold the magazine in a detachable manner as described above, and thus has a suitable function as a magazine holding device for an IC handler.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in this conventional device (FIG. 5), the spherical surface 5a of the pusher 5 and the magazine 3 make point contact at points A and A', and there is a large local area at these points. produces pressure. For this reason, there is a problem in that the upper edge of the magazine 3 is easily deformed as shown by the imaginary lines B and B', and it also tends to wear out quickly because sliding friction occurs when the magazine is inserted and removed. Furthermore, when inserting the magazine 3, the bottom of the magazine is formed into a groove 4a.
The insertion operation is difficult because it has to match the

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a magazine holding device in which an IC magazine can be freely inserted and removed, and there is no risk of damaging the IC magazine.

[Means for Solving the Problem] In order to achieve the above object, the holding device of the present invention includes a magazine holding stand provided with a groove that fits into the bottom of the magazine, and a magazine holding base that slides on the top surface of the magazine to hold the magazine. A tubular member is provided that presses the groove bottom against the groove bottom, and the outer periphery of the tubular member is formed into a conical surface with a large diameter at both ends and a small diameter near the center, and a shaft that is thinner than the inner diameter of the tubular member is attached to the tubular member. A spring means is provided for inserting therethrough, supporting the tubular member while allowing diametric play in the tubular member, and biasing the tubular member toward the magazine.

[Function] In the above structure, when the magazine is inserted between the holding base and the tubular member, it is held between the holding base and the tubular member, and the tubular member is supported by the thin shaft with play and is supported by the spring means. Since it is biased, it acts as a roller, preventing sliding friction and premature wear. Then, the conical surface of the member guides the magazine and automatically positions it. Therefore, the magazine can be inserted and removed freely, quickly and easily. Moreover, since the tubular member is in line contact with the magazine, large localized pressures are not generated.

When carrying out the present invention, any structure can be applied to press the tubular member against the magazine by a spring means, but in this embodiment, a commonly available ball spring component 9 was used. This part has a structure in which a spring 9c is provided that acts in a direction to push out a ball 9b housed in a case 9a, and since it is mass-produced, a product of stable quality can be obtained at a low cost.

The tubular member 7 is constructed symmetrically in the left-right direction in the figure, and its outer peripheral surface is a conical surface having a small diameter near the center and widening toward both ends. The cone angle θ is set to twice the inclination angle φ of the upper side of the magazine 3.

The holding device of this embodiment configured as described above is
The tubular member 7 is biased by the spring 9c and presses the magazine 3 against the holding member 4. The magazine 3 is positioned by the groove 4a of the holding member 4, and is held between the holding member 4 and the tubular member 7.

Since there is a clearance c in the width direction between the magazine 3 and the groove 4a', the insertion operation of the magazine 3 is easy. The inserted magazine 3 has its upper surface guided by the conical surface of the tubular member 7, and is automatically positioned in the width direction (horizontal direction in the figure).

As is clear from FIG. 1, the magazine 3 and the tubular member 7 are in line contact and not in point contact as in the prior art (FIG. 5). Therefore, no large local pressure is generated and there is no risk of deforming the magazine 3.

Moreover, the tubular member 7 is connected to the horizontal shaft 8 through the play g.
Since it is supported by a spring 9c, it can be moved up and down while maintaining an almost horizontal position, and is urged downward by a spring 9c. Furthermore, since the tubular member 7 can rotate around the horizontal axis 8, it also functions as a roller. For this reason, inserting the magazine 3 in the longitudinal direction (that is, in the direction perpendicular to the page in FIG. 1),
It can be removed. In particular, the fact that the outer periphery of the tubular member 7 has a conical surface facilitates the operation of inserting one end of the magazine 3 between the holding member 4 and the tubular member 3, and prevents the magazine 3 from premature wear. Automatic positioning of the magazine 3 is made possible.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, when the magazine holding device of the present invention is applied, the IC magazine can be inserted and removed freely, and there is no risk of damaging the IC magazine.
