This is causing a serious problem in that there is a risk that injuries to athletes will occur one after another. In addition, wooden bats are weaker than metal bats and tend to break easily.Although efforts have been made to improve the strength and quality of wooden bats, such as oil tempering, which injects reinforced oil, breakage accidents have caused no trace of damage. The current situation is that there is no such thing.

(Technical means) This invention was made in order to solve the above technical problem, and the safety butt of this invention will be explained in detail below with reference to the drawings. It is a cylinder, and consists of a thin-walled cylinder 2b at the tip and a thick-walled cylinder 2c at the base, with the partition plate part 2a as the boundary. 3 is the inner hole 3b
It is a wood fitting body into which an elastic core material 4 is inserted, and the wood fitting body 3 is tightly fitted into the thin wall portion 2b of the outer cylinder 1. The tip of the wooden fitting 3 is provided with a concave portion 3b having a cross section 3c through which an inner hole 3b opens. A steel wire 5 fitted into the sleeve 11 is inserted into the core hole 4a on the central axis passing through the center of the elastic core material 4.
are inserted through the partition plate portion 2a and the bottom surface 3c of the recessed portion 3a at the tip of the wood fitting 3, respectively, and are secured by tightening nuts 7 via packing seats 6, respectively. Note that 3d is a core hole of the wood fitting 3, and 5a is a threaded portion at both ends of the steel wire 5. A head plug 8 made of an elastic material such as hard rubber is fitted into the recess 3a. Further, a tail plug 9 made of wood is fitted into the base end of the thick-walled cylinder 2c with a part of the protrusion 9a protruding to the outside. An elastic grip fitting body 10 made of hard rubber or the like is fitted into the protrusion 9a at the base end of the thick-walled cylinder 2c. Note that as the elastic core material 4, an elastic material such as sponge is used.

(Effects of the invention) The safety bat of this invention has the above-mentioned structure, in particular, the majority tip portion of the light metal outer cylinder 1, which is the ball-hitting part, is made into a thin-walled cylinder 2b, and the wood fitting 3 is tightly fitted therein. On the other hand, the grip part at the base is made of a combination of light metal material and wood, with a thick walled part 2c that is hollow inside.
It takes full advantage of the strengths of both materials and provides excellent and reasonable strength. The thickness of the light metal in the ball striking part is about half that of conventional metal bats, and the wood part is thicker than conventional wooden bats. It is approximately two-thirds the length compared to the original, and has outstanding effects such as contributing significantly to the saving of material resources.

In addition, since the elastic core material 4 is inserted into the center of the wood fitting 3 and the steel wire 5 is stretched on the central axis so as to function as a reinforcing stay, the elastic core material 4 absorbs shock. Together with this, the tensile strength and shear strength of the bat can be significantly increased, and there are excellent effects such as being able to prevent accidents caused by the bat being bent in half and flying off.
