Claims

A case having a head insertion window and rotatably accommodating a recording disk, a shutter that is slidably attached to the case and opens and closes the head insertion window, and a hook with the tips of its legs facing the inner surface of the case on opposite sides. The hook-shaped portion of one leg is locked to a corner inside the case, and the hook-shaped portion of the other leg is locked to a substantially L-shaped claw at the end of the shutter to insert the shutter into the head. In a disk cartridge consisting of a roughly dogleg-shaped spring that biases the window in the closing direction, the leg on the shutter side of the spring is turned in the opposite direction from the hook-shaped part at the tip of the leg in the half-way shape. 2.
