体で、これの所定部位には外ケース2の上部外面
に位置して外側が開口した矩形枠6が一体に設け
られており、この矩形枠6の下部には夫々ねじ孔
7aを有する一対の取付片7が突設されている。
8はこの矩形枠6の下方に位置して外ケース2に
形成された開口部、9はこの開口部8の更に下方
に位置して底板4に切欠形成された凹部である。
さて、10は合成樹脂製の操作パネルであり、こ
れの上面は若干前方に下降する傾斜状をなし、こ
の上面には銘板取付凹部11が形成されていると
共に、この銘板取付凹部11の所定部位には操作
用の開口部12及び炊飯行程表示用の複数の開口
部13並びにデジタルタイマー表示用の開口部1
4が夫々形成されている。また、操作パネル10
の下部には前記矩形枠6の取付片7に対応して
夫々ねじ挿通孔15aを有する一対の取付片15
が形成されている。16は操作パネル10の銘板
取付凹部11に貼着された銘板で、これには銘板
取付凹部11の各開口部12,13,14に対応
して窓部17,18,19が夫々形成されてお
り、そのうち特に炊飯行程表示用の窓部18には
図示はしないが炊飯行程を示す文字例えば「炊
飯」、「保温」等が付されている。20は操作パネ
ル10の裏側に該操作パネル10に沿つてねじ止
めにより配設されたプリント基板で、これの上面
には炊飯運転に係る操作スイツチの操作部21、
炊飯運転の行程を表示する表示部としての発光体
22及びデジタルタイマー23が夫々操作パネル
10の各開口部12,13,14に対応して配置
されている。また、プリント基板20の下面には
リード線24が導出されていて、このリード線2
4は外ケース2の外面に沿つて底板4の凹部9か
ら本体1内へ導かれている。而して、操作パネル
10は、これ自体に銘板16及びプリント基板2
0を取付けた後、矩形枠6の前部に取付片7及び
15を介してねじ25により取着されており、こ
れにて、該操作パネル10は本体1の外周部の上
部に上向きの形態になされている。一方、26は
縦長な合成樹脂製のカバーで、これは、上記操作
パネル10と共に操作ボツクス40を構成するも

の下端縁部に圧接係合させることにより取付けら
れており、以つて、該カバー26は操作パネル1
