(Prior art) In automobiles in which the spare tire is stored and held on the lower surface of the floor panel at the rear of the vehicle, one end located on the front side of the vehicle body is placed on the lower surface of the floor panel, vertically and vertically relative to the vehicle body. a spare tire holding member that is rotatably supported in a direction and capable of holding a spare tire on its upper surface side; and a spare tire holding member that is suspended from the lower surface of the floor at the rear end of the vehicle body and located on the rear side of the vehicle body of the spare tire holding member. A locking member that acts to removably lock the other end of the spare tire holding member is provided, and the spare tire can be stored and held in a state in which the other end of the spare tire holding member is locked to the locking member. On the other hand, the spare tire holding structure is such that the spare tire can be taken out or attached when the other end of the spare tire holding member is separated from the locking member.

By the way, in such a spare tire holding structure, since the locking member is located on the rear side of the vehicle body than the spare tire storage space and is hung vertically from the bottom surface of the floor panel, the locking member is not engaged when the spare tire is installed or removed from the storage position. It is necessary to lower the spare tire holding member to a position where the stop member and the spare tire do not interfere with each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. However, especially when the rear tire is punctured, the distance between the vehicle body and the ground is smaller than when the front tire is punctured, so the amount by which the spare tire holding member can be lowered becomes smaller due to its relative relationship with the ground. In some cases, it may become difficult to remove and install the spare tire.

To prevent this, set the spare tire holding position as high as possible on the vehicle body and increase the distance between the spare tire holding member and the ground (that is, the distance between the locking member and the ground). good. However, in this case, the position of the floor panel is raised by the increase in the spare tire holding position, which is unfavorable in terms of securing cargo space or improving workability when loading and unloading cargo.

Against this background, the locking member installed vertically at the rear of the vehicle body is configured to be movable up and down, and when the spare tire is attached or removed, the locking member is lifted above the position when the spare tire is stored and held. There is a tire that secures a wider distance between the locking member and the ground when the tire is attached or detached (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 139470/1983).

However, in this known example, all changes in the vertical position of the locking member when attaching and detaching the spare tire are performed manually, which makes the operation troublesome, and the work itself is especially difficult for spare tires. Due to the mounting position of the tire, there was also the problem that the work was difficult because the worker had to bend down to perform the work.

(Means for Achieving the Object) As a means for achieving the above object, the present invention provides a structure in which one end is supported on the underside of the floor of an automobile so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction with respect to the vehicle body, and In the moving position, the other end of the spare tire holding member is engaged with and held by a locking member provided vertically from the floor panel, and the spare tire placed on the upper surface side of the spare tire holding member can be stored and held on the lower surface side of the floor. In the spare tire holding structure, the locking member is rotatably supported vertically with respect to the vehicle body, and the other end of the spare tire holding member is engaged and held at a lower position and a lower position. It is possible to selectively position the spare tire holding member to an upward movement position where the engagement with the spare tire holding member is released, and it is constantly urged to a downward movement position by a biasing mechanism. Between the tire holding member and the spare tire holding member, when the spare tire holding member is rotated from the upward position to the downward position, the locking member is moved upward from the downward position against the biasing force of the biasing mechanism. A connecting member is disposed that interlocks and connects the two so that the spare tire holding member can be rotated toward the position side, and the connecting member is provided with a connecting member that is independent of the operation of the connecting member when the spare tire holding member is in the upward movement position. The present invention is characterized in that a rotation permitting mechanism is provided for permitting rotation of the locking member from the lower position to the upper position.

(Function) In the present invention, by using the above-mentioned means, when the spare tire is attached to and removed from the storage position, that is, when the spare tire holding member is rotated downward from its upward movement position and the spare tire in the storage state is taken out, this In conjunction with the downward rotation of the spare tire holding member, the locking member is automatically rotated from its downward position to its upward position by the interlocking action of the connecting member;
The distance between the lower end of the locking member and the ground is expanded to ensure sufficient movement space for the spare tire.

On the other hand, when storing the spare tire, that is, when rotating the spare tire holding member from its lower position to its upper position and locking one end of the rear side of the vehicle body to the locking member, the spare tire is As the holding member moves upward, the linking action of the connecting member to the locking member is released, and the locking member is automatically returned from its upward movement position to its downward movement position by the urging force of the urging mechanism. When the spare tire holding member reaches its upward movement position, it engages and holds the spare tire holding member.

On the other hand, when the spare tire holding member is in its upward movement position, the locking member is rotated from its downward movement position to its upward movement position irrespective of the operation of the spare tire holding member, that is, the operation of the connecting member. Therefore, when taking out the spare tire or storing the spare tire, the locking member can be operated independently and connected to the spare tire holding member without depending on the operation of the spare tire holding member. It is possible to perform an operation to release the engagement.

(1) When attaching or removing the spare tire to the storage position, the spare tire holding member is placed vertically on the underside of the floor panel at the rear of the vehicle in conjunction with the rotation operation from the up position to the down position. The locking member is rotated from its lower position to its upper position by the interlocking action of the connecting member, contrary to the movement of the spare tire holding member, so that the lower end of the locking member and the ground are rotated. In order to increase the gap, sufficient movement space for the spare tire is secured below the vehicle body, and the storage position of the spare tire relative to the vehicle body is lowered by the increased distance compared to the case where the locking member is fixedly arranged. This makes it possible to further lower the vehicle body.

(2) Since the above-mentioned locking member is automatically operated in conjunction with the vertical movement of the spare tire holding member, the operator must manually operate the locking member each time the spare tire is attached or removed. The work of attaching and detaching the spare tire is made easier than in the case of the present invention.

(3) When the spare tire holding member is in its upward position, the locking member can be moved from the downward movement position where it engages with the spare tire holding member, regardless of the operation of the spare tire holding member. Since the spare tire holding member can be rotated to the upward position where the engagement is released, the spare tire holding member can be rotated downward while the engagement between the two is securely released. For example, when taking out the spare tire, compared to a structure in which the locking member cannot be disengaged independently of the spare tire holding member, it is possible to remove the spare tire. This further improves the workability during the removal work.

Therefore, when the spare tire holding member 1 is positioned at the upward movement position as shown by solid lines in FIGS. 1 and 2, the locking member 2 is positioned at the downward movement position by the spring force of the spring 28. At the same time, if necessary, loosen the bolt member 27 to release the fastening force with the locking protrusion 11 and rotate it by hand in the direction of arrow L to release the engagement with the locking protrusion 11. It is becoming possible to do so. In addition, at this time, wire latching pin 25
slides in the elongated hole 23, and no operating force is applied to the wire 9. That is, in this example,
The elongated hole 23 constitutes a rotation permitting mechanism within the scope of the utility model registration claims. On the other hand, when the spare tire holding member 1 is rotated downward from its upward position with the locking protrusion 11 of the spare tire holding member 1 disengaged from the bolt member 27 of the locking member 2, A tensile force is applied to the wire 9 by the lever action of the swing lever 6, and the locking member 2 is forcibly rotated from its lower position to its upper position. In this case, after the locking member 2 has been positioned at the upward movement position, when the spare tire holding member 1 is further rotated downward, the spring 10 is appropriately expanded and the wire 9 is subjected to excessive force. It acts to prevent the operation force from acting.

Conversely, when the spare tire holding member 1 is rotated back from its downward position to its upward position, the tensile force applied to the wire 9 is released as the spare tire holding member 1 moves upward. The locking member 2 is automatically rotated back from its upward movement position to its downward movement position by the spring force of the spring 28.

The relative relationship between the rear of the car and the road surface is
This varies depending on various conditions such as the loading situation in the luggage compartment and the presence or absence of a puncture in the rear tire.
In FIG. 1, the road surface indicated by numeral 31A is the relative road surface position with respect to the rear of the vehicle when the vehicle is empty and the rear tires are normal (no puncture), and the road surface indicated by numeral 31B is the road surface position when the vehicle is loaded. The road surface position when the rear tires are normal, and the road surface indicated by reference numeral 31C is the road surface position when the rear tires are loaded and the rear tires are punctured (particularly, the road surface position at this time is hereinafter referred to as the road surface at the time of the puncture).

Therefore, in order to be able to attach and detach the spare tire 30 without any problem under any conditions, it is necessary to connect the spare tire 30 to the road surface 31C through the gap between the road surface 31C and the lower end of the locking member 2 at the time of a puncture. The spare tire 30 placed on the spare tire holding member 1' is taken out to the rear side of the vehicle body, or conversely, the spare tire 30 placed on the rear side of the vehicle body is placed on the spare tire holding member 1'. need to be able to do so.

Conventionally, in order to make this possible, for example, the spare tire holding position relative to the car body was set at a relatively high position to widen the distance between the spare tire holding position and the road surface, or the spare tire holding position was set vertically from the car body. When attaching or removing a spare tire, a part of the tire holding device is manually pulled upwards to widen the distance between the spare tire holding position and the road surface. There is a problem in that the position of the floor panel becomes higher due to the higher position of the vehicle, which leads to a higher floor of the vehicle body.In the latter case, it is already known that there is a problem in that the task of attaching and detaching the spare tire is complicated. As stated above.

(During spare tire removal work) This is a case where the spare tire 30 is taken out from its stored state to the rear side of the vehicle body.
The state shown in solid lines in FIGS. 1 and 2, respectively, is that the bolt member 27 of the locking member 2 in the downward movement position is inserted into the locking groove 12 of the locking protrusion 11 of the spare tire holding member 1 and is locked. However, the spare tire holding member 1 is positioned at its upward movement position by the locking member 2. Therefore, in this state, first, the bolt member 27 is loosened appropriately to release the fixing effect of the bolt member 27 on the locking protrusion 11 .

Next, the worker slightly lifts up the rear end 1b of the spare tire holding member 1 by hand, and in this state, manually rotates the locking member 2 slightly in the direction of arrow L to lock the locking member 2. The bolt member 27 is removed from the locking groove 12 of the locking protrusion 11. In this case, this embodiment is configured such that the locking member 2 can be rotated independently of the operation of the spare tire holding member 1 when the spare tire holding member 1 is in the upward movement position. Therefore, the engagement between the spare tire holding member 1 and the locking member 2 can be easily released, and the workability during this engagement release operation can be improved.

By the way, in this state, the spare tire 30 placed on the spare tire holding member 1 is at a position indicated by the reference numeral 30A (indicated by a chain line) in FIG. Therefore, from this state, the spare tire 30
When the spare tire 30 is pulled out to the rear of the vehicle body over the locking protrusion 11', the spare tire 30
As already mentioned, from the point where the spare tire 30 and the locking member 2 are lifted up to the position indicated by , they interfere with each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, making it difficult to take out the spare tire 30.

However, in this embodiment, by applying the present invention, when the spare tire holding member 1 rotates downward, the locking member 2 is automatically moved from its downward position to its upward position in conjunction with this rotation. Since it is configured to rotate, the lowermost end of the locking member 2 (i.e.,
The position of the bolt member 27) is raised, thereby securing a space for pulling out the spare tire 30 toward the rear of the vehicle body, making it possible to easily take out the spare tire 30.

Thus, the fact that the lowest end position of the locking member 2 when the spare tire 30 is taken out can be raised by the dimension H from the position when the spare tire 30 is in the stored state means that the device having such a function locking member 2
Compared to a case where the spare tire 30 is fixedly arranged, the storage and holding position of the spare tire 30 relative to the vehicle body can be set lower by the dimension H. This means that the mounting position of the floor panel 51 relative to the vehicle body can be lowered to lower the floor of the luggage compartment.

Next, when the spare tire holding member 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow Q and positioned at the upward movement position, the locking member 2 is moved by the wire 9 as the rotation operation of the spare tire holding member 1 progresses. Since the rotation regulating action is gradually released, the spring 28
The biasing force automatically returns the rotation from the upward movement position to the downward movement position. Therefore, just before the spare tire holding member 1 is positioned at its upward movement position, the operator moves the locking member 2, which rotates back from the upward movement position to the downward movement side, so that the spare tire holding member 1 is engaged with the spare tire holding member 1. Once the spare tire holding member 1 is stopped at a position where it does not engage with the stop protrusion 11, and the restraining force (manual operation force) on the locking member 2 is released when the spare tire holding member 1 is completely positioned at the upward movement position, the locking is performed. The bolt member 27 of the member 2 is inserted into the locking groove 1 of the locking protrusion 11.
2, and the locking member 2 restricts the downward rotation of the spare tire holding member 1. In this state, by appropriately tightening the bolt member 27 and applying an appropriate fastening force between the locking protrusion 11 and the bolt member 27, the spare tire holding member 1 is firmly connected to the vehicle body. spare tire 30
is stored and held on the lower surface side of the floor panel 51 (the storage and holding work is completed).

As described above, in the spare tire holding device Z of this embodiment, the present invention is applied to the locking member 2.
The rotation operation of the locking member 2 is configured to be performed automatically in conjunction with the rotation operation of the spare tire holding member 1, which is always operated when the spare tire is attached or removed. spare tire 30
It is easier for the operator to perform each attachment/detachment operation, and the workability is improved accordingly.
