Various types of piping used in chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, etc. are usually coated on their outer peripheral surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion. The general method of painting piping is to apply a rust-preventive coating on the bottom layer, and then apply one or several layers of topcoat on top of that. Normally, piping is coated with anti-rust coating at a factory before being delivered to the construction site, but there are cases where the painting is completed at the factory. Alternatively, a painting operation or the like may be set up near the construction site to paint the pipes before construction.

Conventionally, the method of painting piping carried out in such factories or painting workshops is to float the piping on a suitable support member, and then use a painting gun or the like to paint the outer circumference of the piping evenly and uniformly. Manual methods are the norm.

However, such conventional manual painting methods have low working efficiency and require considerable skill to apply uniform coating. Furthermore, spray painting using a paint gun creates a poor working environment and poses a great danger to the human body. These problems become particularly noticeable when a large number of pipes are coated with anti-rust coating in a factory or the like.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of the piping coating apparatus of the present invention. The rotating vibrator 1 has an annular shape composed of a mounting portion 2 and an opening 3.
Four painting gun holders 4 are fixedly installed at equal intervals of 90° along the circumferential direction. This number may be any number as long as it is a plurality of two or more countries. The inner periphery of the mounting portion 2 is circular, and therefore the opening 3 forms a circular space. The diameter of the opening 3 is large enough to allow the pipe 5 to be coated to pass therethrough, and is at least slightly larger than the maximum diameter of the pipe to be coated.

The paint gun holder 4 includes a support shaft 6 extending in the axial direction, a branch body 7 painted on the support shaft 6 so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction thereof, and a branch body 7 that slides in a direction perpendicular to the support shaft 6. It consists of an L-shaped branch shaft 8 that is freely mounted, and screws 9 that prevent sliding between the support shaft 6 and the branch body 7 and between the branch body 7 and the branch shaft 8, respectively. A paint gun 10 is detachably and rotatably attached to the tip of the branch shaft 8, and a flexible paint hose 11 and an air hose 12 are connected to the paint gun 10. The other ends of the paint hose 11 and the air hose 12 are connected to a paint tank, compressor, etc. (not shown).

The axial movement of the rotating vibrating body 1 is prevented by a thrust bearing (not shown) or by slidably holding the side surface of the vibrating body 1 between fixed frames. Further, instead of using the support roller, a kind of bearing mechanism that pivotally supports the outer circumferential surface of the mounting portion 2 may be used.

Next, the mounting portion 2 of the rotating vibrator 1 is attached to the driving means 14.
The rotor is connected to the rotor so that it can be rotated and vibrated at a constant rotation angle. The drive means 14 includes a low-speed rotation drive source 15 such as a gear motor, a rotary plate 16 mounted on the output shaft of the drive source 15, and a drive whose both ends are pivotally supported on the sides of the rotary plate 16 and the mounting portion 2. It is composed of an arm 17. Drive arm 1
7 and the pivot point of the rotary plate 16 and the mounting portion 2 are determined as appropriate depending on the required turning angle of the turning vibrator 1. This turning angle is determined by the number of painting gun holders 4 provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the turning vibrator 1.
, it is determined to be 360°/n.
For example, when the number n of coating gun holders 4 is 4 as shown in FIG. 1, the rotation angle is 360°/4=90°.

Next, after starting the driving means 14 and driving the rotating vibrating body 1, the piping 5 is moved at a constant speed in the direction of the arrow while being supported on the rollers 18, either manually or by an automatic conveying device. (The direction of movement of the piping 5 is not particularly limited and may be in the opposite direction to the arrow.) On the other hand, before the position of the piping 5 to be painted reaches the painting area of the painting gun 10, The supply of paint and pressurized gas is started by operating valves, compressors, etc.

In FIG. 2, the outer periphery of the pipe 5 is expanded and shown by a chain line, and the pipe 5 moves from the bottom to the top of the paper as indicated by the arrow. The loci 19 of the center points of the spray areas of the four painting guns meander periodically in the range of 0 to 90 degrees in the same pattern without overlapping each other. Therefore, the entire 360° circumference of the pipe 5 is covered with four painting guns. The spray area of one paint gun and the spray area of another adjacent paint gun overlap to some extent with a constant width.

[Function of the invention] The piping coating apparatus of the present invention has the above-described configuration, so that uniform coating can always be performed quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, since the painting gun automatically moves within its own painting area and paints, the operator only needs to operate and monitor it remotely, and there is no danger to the human body as with conventional methods.
