[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] This invention relates to a snow melting device for a roof in a building structure, and more specifically, to a snow melting device for a roof used by being attached to a snow prevention member provided above a roof plate. This relates to snow melting equipment.

In the case of architectural structures in snowy countries, it is necessary to quickly remove snow on the roof during the winter. By using indoor heating, the roof surface is heated from the inside, melting the contact surface of the snow, and causing the snow to slide down along the roof slope toward the eaves.

However, with this method, the heating heat does not reach the eaves, so the moved snow may freeze at the eaves and form a bank, and this bank-like part blocks the flow of melted snow water. By acting as a reservoir for water and causing it to flow back toward the ridge, water leaks to the inside of the roof surface, a so-called "suga leak."

Therefore, there was a snow melting device that prevents "sugar leakage" as shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-56269.
In this snow melting device, a large number of small flake-shaped snow stoppers are fixed to a roof board so that they protrude above the roof board, and a heat generating member is fixed to the snow stopper, and a large number of heat generating members are attached to the eaves side of the roof. There was one in which the roof panels were placed on the surface of the roof panels at predetermined intervals laterally along the slope of the roof.

In addition, it was used as a snow melting device for roofs.
As shown in Publication No. 10764, a large number of heat-generating members are insulated and wrapped in a metal cover plate, and the tips of these eaves are fixed to the tips of the eaves of a roof board using mounting fittings. There was also a roof plate that was placed on the back side of the eaves in the same way as the conventional one.

However, among conventional roof snow melting devices, the snow melting device described above has a snow stopper fixed to the roof board, so the snow stopper is large in both vertical and lateral dimensions. If the heat generated by the heat-generating member melts the snow on the roof panels in close proximity to them, there is a risk that the large snow mass will not be able to withstand the weight of the large snow mass trying to slide down the slope of the roof. For this reason, it is necessary to make the snow stoppers small; if the number of snow stoppers is too large, the installation of the snow stoppers becomes troublesome and impossible, and there is a risk that large chunks of snow may fall from the eaves. Further, since there are a large number of small pieces of snow stopper fittings, it is troublesome to attach and detach the heat generating members to and from them, and there is a problem in that there is little freedom in changing the position and spacing of the heat generating members.

The latter snow melting device does not have snow stopping parts such as snow stoppers, so when the snow near the roof shingles is melted by the heat generating member, large chunks of snow will fall even further than the former snow melting device. Moreover, since the heat generating member is attached to the back side of the roof board, it is more troublesome to attach and remove the heat generating member, and to change the position and spacing compared to the former snow melting device.

This invention solves the above-mentioned problems with conventional snow melting devices, and even if the snow near the roof shingles is melted by the heat-generating member, it can reliably prevent large snowflakes from falling from the eaves. In addition, it is easy to attach and detach heat generating members, and change the position and spacing.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a snow melting device for a roof that has a large degree of freedom in making these changes.

Therefore, in this embodiment, the snow that is stopped by the snow stopper bar 9 on the roof board 7 due to indoor heating forms a bank-like frozen part S, as in the conventional case, but the roof slope By energizing and heating the respective heat generating members 12 arranged at appropriate intervals along the side of the eaves, the total calorific value of these members directly contributes to the snow melting action and effective snow melting can be achieved, as shown in Fig. 3. As shown in FIG. 2, there is a snow cave-shaped space 1 in the periphery of the heat generating member 12 that penetrates at least toward the eaves side.
9 is formed, and the snowmelt water W stored in the frozen part S can be easily drained out to the eaves side,
Also, regarding icicles that form on the eaves,
The presence of the eaves-side tip 12a of the heat-generating member 12 allows for easy removal.
