第4図X′,X″とで示す如く変化して、ローラ加
工後の残留応力は同図にXで示す如く広範囲に分
布し、従来装置による場合に比しフイレツト部
Waの強度は一層向上される。

軸心に対し偏心した円形周面4aとすることによ
り成形されるため、その成形が容易であり又加圧
ローラ5の当接形状をワークのフイレツト部と略
同等形状としたからフイレツト部の幅方向での移
動を生じることがなく転がり接触により所定の加
圧をおこなうことができる等の効果を有する。
