[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention is designed to solve the problem that when carrying out cargo handling work by lowering a grab, etc. into the hold of a bulk cargo ship, ore carrier, etc., the hanging wire comes into contact with the corner of the hold mouth. The present invention relates to a device for preventing damage caused by wire rubbing.

The upper deck of a ship is designed to make the upper surface of the ship watertight, prevent seawater and rainwater from entering the ship, and serve as a place for loading passengers and cargo, walking for people, and a place for sailors to work, as well as maintaining the strength of the ship. It also plays an extremely important role. The upper deck is equipped with a hatch that leads to the hold, but in recent years the hatch has tended to become wider and wider to facilitate cargo handling.

By the way, there is no separate regulation regarding the width of the hatch, but when designing a wide hatch, it is necessary to use strong beams for the end beams of the hatch, or to use strong beams for the side edges of the hatch so as not to reduce the strength of the hull. It is necessary to take reinforcement measures such as increasing the thickness of the rough deck or passing stringers under the edge material. In addition, large stress acts on the hatch part due to cross-sectional changes, and there is a risk that stress will be concentrated particularly at the four corners of the hatch and cracks will occur in these areas. The deck is always rounded, and there is also a hatch coaming surrounding the entire hatch. In other words, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a gently rounded projecting portion 2 is provided at the corner of the upper deck 1 forming the hatch, and a projecting portion 2 is provided on the upper deck corresponding to the hatch side girder 3. That is, a hatch coaming 4 is provided around the periphery of the hatch.

However, especially on bulk cargo ships and ore carriers, where cargo handling operations are carried out using grab buckets, the hanging wires that operate the grab buckets come into contact with the edges of the overhanging portions 2 that protrude a lot at the corners. The problem is to prevent damage to this part.

In the method shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 above, it is necessary to weld the bracket 2a to the upper deck projecting portion 2 at the corner of the hatch, but this location is a stress concentration area.
Welding residual stress caused by welding and stress concentration areas at the ends of the bracket should be avoided. Note that the hatch can be deformed due to vertical bending of the ship, torsion, or pressure from cargo, but with the method shown in Figures 9 and 10, the relative displacement between two points is firmly fixed and restrained. This is undesirable because unnecessary stress is generated due to the deformation of the material, which may cause damage. In addition, there have been reports of cases in which many cracks and damage occurred in ships employing the systems shown in FIGS. 11 and 12. In other words, as explained earlier, the upper deck overhang part 2 is provided to alleviate stress concentration, and although the shape is such that it easily follows the deformation of this part, Welding a steel bar or the like to the most delicate tip part goes against the original purpose of the method shown in Figures 7 and 8 above, and in any case, each of the conventional methods has its own problems that need to be solved. left behind.

Figures 1 to 4 show an embodiment of this invention, and the round bar 9 shown in the figure represents the deck 1 forming the hatch.
Both ends are held in a loosely fitted state through supporting metal fittings 10 in a space located at the front of an arc-shaped projecting portion 2 . In other words, the support fitting 10
The mounting plate 11 is fixed to the base end, and this mounting plate 11
is welded to the hatch coaming 4 or the hatch side girder 3, and both ends of the round bar 9 are loosely fitted into the cylindrical support part, with an appropriate gap between them. The round bar 9 is held loosely. In other words, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, both ends of the round bar 9 are cut at right angles to the axis, so that the round bar 9 can not only move back and forth and left and right while being held. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, both ends of the round bar 9 are cut at an inclined angle. , left and right movements are allowed. FIG. 3 is a side view showing the relationship between the support hardware 10 and the round bar 9. If it is desired to avoid the accumulation of cargo in the gap between the two and on the upper surface of the support hardware 10, the upper part of the support hardware 10 can be removed. It is sufficient to form the gap obliquely and fill the gap with a filler. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the wire reaction force acting on the round bar 9 is supported by the support hardware 10, but in the embodiment shown in FIG.
It is sufficient to simply prevent the round bar 9 from falling, and there is almost no need to control the machining accuracy of the supporting hardware 10. Further, the support hardware 10 shown in FIG. 4 is a U-shaped rod (or strip) with both ends fixed to the mounting plate 11.

As described above, in this invention, a round bar is loosely fitted and held in the front space of the deck overhang via supporting hardware, and the wire reaction force of the cargo handling equipment is not restrained at all against the hatch. It is supported through a round bar. In other words, since the wire rubbing prevention device of this invention does not restrict the deformation of the hatch, the reinforcement of the hull structure, which was conventionally required, can be simplified and damage to the wire itself can be prevented.
