設水道管を、又Bはテレスコピツク型伸縮管を示
し、上記水道管の内周にはモルタルライニング層

き布製等の防水素材からなるカバー本体であり、
対象となる水道管Aの外周の長さに対応し、しか
も上記テレスコピツク型伸縮管B、すなわち伸縮
継手部に対応した幅をもつ長方形状を呈し、その
両端縁にはフアスナー2を付設するとともにこの
フアスナー2に近接した複数個所に掛け金具3を
配設するか、第3図に示すように、両端縁に夫々
断面L字形の接続用フランジ2′を付設しておき、
これらをボルトにより連結できるように構成す
る。なお上記掛け金具3は、上記フアスナー2を
閉着したとき、この部分を漏水の内圧に対抗して
補強し、フアスナー2を保護するとともにカバー
本体1を強固に結合する役目をもつている。4は
カバー本体1の両側縁の全長にわたつて形成した
所定幅の封止縁部であり、この両封止縁部4に連
続する中央部5には、例えば断面台形状の膨出し
たゆとり部5aを形成している。このゆとり部5
aは、カバー本体1を水道管Aに巻着固定したと
き、この部分で漏水を溜めカバー本体1の上記中
央部5の適所(下部)に設けた排水プラグ6へ導
くものであつて、完全に密閉された環状の膨出空
隙が形成されるが、カバー本体1の構成材料等の
条件によつてその形状は特定されない。なお、図
中7は水道管Aに対してカバー本体1の巻着位置
を決定し仮止めするロープであり、又8は上記封
止縁部4を締付ける金属製のバンドであつてこれ
には締付け金具9が設けられている。なお上記封
止縁部4と水道管Aの表面間には必要に応じて適
