するヘツド温度センサー2と、未印刷状態のチケ
ツトTの周囲の外気温度を検出する外気温度セン
サー3と、前記ヘツド温度センサー2のヘツド温
度および前記外気温度センサー3の外気温度を入
力する通電時間制御器4とから成り、前記通電時
間制御器4は、外気温度の温度変化に基づいて前
記サーマルヘツド1をサーマル印刷温度に昇温せ
しめるように設定した印刷所要通電時間t1に満
たないプリヒート所要通電時間t2を当該サーマ
ルヘツドに出力して、サーマルヘツド1のヘツド
温度がサーマル印刷温度よりも低温の所定のプリ
ヒート温度Ptに等しくなる如く制御する一方、
ヘツド温度が同プリヒート温度Ptを越えたとき
の外気温度による印刷所要通電時間t1と当該印
刷所要通電時間によるヘツド温度の温度変化に基
づいて印字濃度の濃化傾向を抑止する如く設定し
た余剰通電時間t3とから濃度調整通電時間t4
を算出して、この濃度調整通電時間t4をサーマ
ルヘツド1に出力可能に構成されていることを特
