において、 前記サーマルヘツドの各発熱素子にベース電圧
を供給するベース電圧供給部を設け、前記インク
シートの温度を印字温度より低く、かつ昇華温度
より所定温度高い温度に維持して前記インクシー
トの染料供給層から前記染料転写層側に染料を拡
散させて前記染料転写層側の染料濃度を高めなが
ら、前記サーマルヘツドの各発熱素子に選択的に
印字パルスを供給して前記インクシートの染料転
写層から前記受像紙の受容層に染料を転写させる
