Abstract

PURPOSE:To mold a folding-back line part to a thermoplastic resin sheet by keeping a molding tool to temp. higher than the melting temp. of a single-layer thermoplastic resin sheet and applying an electric field of high frequency between the molding tool and a flat surface and pushing the molding tool in the sheet up to the specific depth in the thickness direction thereof to cool the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A single layer thermoplastic resin sheet is arranged between at least one molding tool and a substantially flat surface and the molding tool is held to temp. higher than the single layer thermoplastic resin sheet and a high frequency electric field is applied between the molding tool and the flat surface in order to heat the single layer thermoplastic resin sheet therebetween and the molding tool is pushed in the sheet at least up to a depth of 25% in the thickness direction of the sheet and the sheet is cooled during a time when the sheet keeps a substantially flat state. By this method, a folding-back line part can be formed in the thermoplastic resin sheet for the preparation of a semimanufactured box-shaped product.
