に反射面を有する薄型デイスプレイにおいて、 上記ケーシング１に、上記線光源２の熱により
加熱された内気がケーシング外に流れ出す内気流
出用第１冷却穴１ａ，１ｃと、上記第１冷却穴１
ａ，１ｃからの内気流出に伴い上記ケーシング外
の外気を取り入れる外気取入用第２冷却穴１ｂ，
１ｄとを備えるようにしたことを特徴とする冷却
穴付きデイスプレイ。 (2) 上記各冷却穴１ａ，１ｃ；１ｂ，１ｄは、
上記線光源２の管球直径と同じかまたは該管球直
径より小さい幅寸法と、上記線光源２の長さ寸法
と同じかまたは該長さ寸法より小さい長さ寸法を
有する少なくとも１つの開口である請求項１記載
の冷却穴付きデイスプレイ。 (3) 上記第１冷却穴１ａ，１ｃ及び上記第２冷
却穴１ｂ，１ｄは、夫々、上記線光源２に対して
上記ケーシング１のデイスプレイ表面とは反対側
の裏面に備えられた請求項１または２記載の冷却
穴付きデイスプレイ。 (4) 上記第１冷却穴１ａ，１ｃ及び上記第２冷
却穴１ｂ，１ｄは、上記デイスプレイの表面近傍
の上記ケーシング１の上端部と下端部とに夫々備
えられた請求項１または２記載の冷却穴付きデイ
スプレイ。 (5) 上記第１冷却穴１ａ，１ｃは上記ケーシン
グ１の裏面の上方に位置し、上記第２冷却穴１ｂ
，１ｄは上記ケーシング１の裏面の下方に位置す
るようにした請求項１〜３のいずれかに記載の冷
