However, since the material joining device joins the ends of the band-shaped metal material 25 by welding, the welding heat extends to the joint part of the band-shaped metal material 25,
There are problems in that mechanical properties such as hardness and tensile strength change, and welding defects such as residual stress occur. As a result, when the band-shaped metal material 25 is supplied to a press machine or the like for processing, the joint portion may break, resulting in the production of defective products.

(Effects of the invention) As mentioned above, the material joining device of the present invention is equipped with an annealing device that heats the joint portion of the band-shaped metal materials joined by the welding device at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time, so that the mechanical properties are improved by welding. The joint portion of the band-shaped metal material whose properties have changed can be annealed using an annealing device. As a result, it is possible to soften and increase the ductility of the joint portion of the band-shaped metal material, and to remove residual stress and the like. Furthermore, there is no possibility that the joints will break during transportation of the metal strips, or that the joints will break and result in defective products even when the metal strips are fed to a press machine or the like for processing. becomes. In addition, in the present invention, since the annealing device is movably provided on the table 6, when the table 6 is pulled out to the working position and cutting or welding work is performed, by moving it toward the back of the table 6, The belt-shaped metal body 5 is
This prevents the work from being lifted upward and making work difficult. As a result, the annealing device 4 can be installed even if the width of the table 6 is narrow, and the material bonding device can be downsized.
