Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] In an alternator equipped with a claw-pole type rotor formed by a combination of a pair of rotor plates each forming a plurality of claw-type poles, the base end of the rotor plate is a disc with no grooves on its periphery. A plurality of holes corresponding to the claw-shaped poles are arranged in a ring along the circumference of the disk-shaped base end, and a radius of curvature is approximately equal to the radius of curvature of the hole, and a plurality of holes corresponding to the claw-shaped poles are formed from the hole with a radius of curvature approximately equal to that of the hole. A cooling structure for an alternator, characterized in that a concave curved surface extending to the tip of the claw-shaped pole is formed on a side surface of the claw-shaped pole.
