向上させたタンポンに関する。[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a tampon for menstrual treatment, and more particularly to a tampon in which the fiber density at the tip is reduced to improve the initial absorption rate.

に活用されているとは言えない。 Generally, commercially available tampons are often shaped by winding water-absorbing rectangular paper cotton made of cotton, rayon, nonwoven fabric, etc. into a roll and compressing the outer surface. From the perspective of simply absorbing menstrual blood, its shape is effective in its own way, and it is gaining acceptance among consumers due to its convenience of being smaller than a napkin. However, when looking at the performance of tampons,
Since the absorbent part is densely packed in the center, it cannot be said that the absorbent part is utilized effectively.

Generally, when an absorbent material is compressed and then absorbed, it has the property of returning to its pre-compression shape, so when a tampon compressed in a parachute shape absorbs blood, it tries to return to its parachute shape. Therefore, when absorbing menstrual blood, both the outside and inside of the parachute act as effective areas, and although this is a desirable shape,
There is a disadvantage that too much of the absorbent body gathers at the edge of the parachute, and in the vagina it does not substantially function as the opening of the parachute due to the resistance of the vaginal wall.

There are also C tampons that are compression molded. This shape certainly eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks and provides a tampon that is satisfactory in use. However, since the fiber density at the tip of such a tampon is almost the same as that of the body, it has a drawback that the initial absorption rate is slow for liquids having a viscosity similar to blood. That is, in FIG. 1c, m is a high-density portion and n is a low-density portion.

The opposite side has two long sides and two short sides, and the two long sides are substantially parallel to each other, but the short side is provided with a convex part and/or a concave part to reduce the density of the tip part. It is characterized by the fact that it is made in a similar manner.
以下、本考案の詳細を図面を用いて説明する。 Hereinafter, details of the present invention will be explained using the drawings.

The original fabric 2 of the present invention has two long sides 3 and two short sides 4 as shown in a. The long sides 3 are substantially parallel to each other, but the short sides 4 are required to have protrusions and/or depressions to reduce the fiber density at the tip of the tampon. Short side 4
The shape is preferably a shape that reduces the density of the tip of the tampon, such as a chevron, round, jagged, or wavy shape.

When using several layers of absorbent material, further woven pulp, etc.
Highly absorbent polymers commonly called hydrogels, represented by sodium polyacrylate and CMC,
Fibrous rayon, cotton, etc. can also be used.

Therefore, even when the tip is shaken into a liquid having a viscosity similar to that of blood, the low-density portion at the tip is likely to spread, and an excellent effect on the initial absorption rate can be obtained.
