示す二本の入力軸5,6の軸線方向の外周部を覆
う楕円形をした外周カバー2と、外周カバー2の
前側に固着される半月円状の前面カバー3とより
なり、外周カバー2には4個の取付孔4が上下、
左右対称位置に穿設されている。
前記入力軸5,6は、図示省略したロータリ耕
耘装置のミツシヨンケースから外方に相互に接近
し、かつ平行に突出しており、その外周にはスプ
ライン溝が刻設されている。この入力軸5,6に
対し前記安全カバー1は、その外周カバー2によ
つて両入力軸5,6の外周を同時に覆うと共に、
前面カバー3によつて両入力軸5,6の一方の先
端前側を覆い、垂直方向に180度回転させると他
方の入力軸の先端前側を覆うようになつている。
一方、前記安全カバー1をミツシヨンケースに
取付ける取付座7は、第3図および第4図に示す
ように、ミツシヨンケースに固着される固着部8
と、固着部8の上部から前方に垂直に屈曲し、か
つ前記安全カバー1の外周カバー2の上部内周面
とほぼ同じ形状に弯曲形成された安全カバー取付
部9とで構成されている。安全カバー取付部9に
は、前記安全カバー1の取付孔4の上部2つのも
のと対応するねじ孔10,10が穿設されてお
り、このねじ孔10,10の内面側にはナツト1
1,11が溶接により固着されている。そして、
前記安全カバー1の外周カバー2の上部内周面を
安全カバー取付部9に被せるようにして取付孔4
とねじ孔10とを合せ、握り部とボルトからなる
握りねじ12を取付孔4、ねじ孔10に挿入し、
ナツト11に螺挿することで安全カバー1を取付
座7に取付けるようにしている。
このように構成された二軸型入力軸の安全カバ
ーにおいては、取付座7に安全カバー1を握りね
じ12を介して取付けた状態で、前記カバー3に
よりカバーされていない側の入力軸5または6に
トラクタの出力軸(PTO軸)からユニバーサル
ジヨイント、伝達軸を介して動力が伝達されるよ
う接続する。すると、ロータリ耕耘装置の耕耘軸
は正逆転いずれかに回転して耕耘作業行う。この
とき、入力軸5,6の軸線方向外周は外周カバー
2により覆われ、動力伝達されていない入力軸5

度回転して今まで下方にあつた取付孔4,4を取
付座7のねじ孔10,10に合わせ、握りねじ1
2により固定し、前端側が露出している入力軸に
出力側を接続する。こうすることにより他方の入
力軸はその前側が前面カバー3により覆われ安全
となる。
