部12が本体13の枠部14の裏面と強く係合し
て鎖錠する構造となつている。ところがこのよう
な構造のものは鎖錠棒11が枠部14と強く擦れ
合うので本体13のこの部分の塗装が傷付けられ
る欠点があるうえ、ハンドル操作に強い力が必要
となる欠点があつた。さらに、鎖錠棒11の先端
が本体13の枠部14に当たり、鎖錠不能になる
ことがあつた。

のである。この鎖錠棒4の案内部材8に対応する
位置には屈曲部9が形成されている。この屈曲部
9は鎖錠棒4が第1図の状態から第4図の状態に
向かつて扉の端部方向に移動したときに案内部材
8にガイドされ、その先端10を扉3に接近させ
る方向に移動させるためのもので、図示のように
外側が扉3に近付く形状とされている。

装置においては、第2図及び第3図に示されるよ
うに鎖錠棒4が扉の端部方向に移動するにつれて
鎖錠棒4の屈曲部9と案内部材8との係合位置が
変化し、これとともに鎖錠棒4の先端10が次第
に扉3に接近して最終的に第4図の状態となる。
従つて本考案においては鎖錠棒4は本体1の枠部
2に対して強く擦れ合うことなく密着することが
でき、鎖錠棒4によつて本体1の枠部2の塗装が
傷付けられることが防止できる。また本考案にお
いては第5図、第6図に示される従来のもののよ
うに鎖錠棒4が本体の枠部2と擦れ合いながら移
動しないので、ハンドル操作を軽快に行うことが
できるうえ、鎖錠棒4が扉3の端部方向に移動す
るにつれて鎖錠棒4の先端10が次第に扉3に接
近する方向に移動するようにしたので、鎖錠不能
になるおそれがない。
