部の軸線まわりに回転可能に支持するセンター支
持部材と、該センター支持部材によつて支持され
たクランクシヤフトを係止部材と押さえ部材とで
はさむことによつて所定の位相に固定する位相固
定手段と、該位相固定手段によつて位相が固定さ
れたクランクシヤフトを複数のクランプ爪によつ
てチヤツキングするフローテイングチヤツクユニ
ツトと、チヤツキングされたクランクシヤフトを
加工が施されるクランクピンの軸線まわりに回転
させる回転手段とが設けられたクランクシヤフト
加工用保持装置において、 押さえ部材を一定方向に付勢するスプリングと
、所定の１つのクランプ爪がクランクシヤフトか
ら後退するときにはスプリングの付勢力に抗して
押さえ部材をスプリングの付勢方向と逆方向に変
位させるように上記クランプ爪と押さえ部材とを
係合させる一方、上記クランプ爪がクランクシヤ
フトに向かつて前進するときにおいて上記クラン
プ爪がクランクシヤフトに接近したときには上記
クランプ爪と押さえ部材との係合を解除する係合
アームと、押さえ部材がスプリングによつてその
付勢方向に変位させられるときには押さえ部材を
クランクシヤフトに接近する方向に変位させてク
ランクシヤフトの位相を固定する一方、押さえ部
材がスプリングの付勢方向と逆方向に変位させら
れるときには押さえ部材をクランクシヤフトから
離反する方向に変位させてクランクシヤフトの位
相の固定を解除する移動方向変換部材とが設けら
