Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent foot-ache even through gravel or the like which has entered into a shoe is removed by taking off the shoe, by forming recesses in the sole of a shoe. CONSTITUTION:Recesses 2 are formed in the sole 1 of a shoe so that gravel or the like can drop into the recesses so as to prevent footsole-ache from being felt. Earth, gravel or the like having entered in the recesses is removed when the shoe is taken off. The larger the number of recesses 2, the lower the strength of the shoe sole 1 becomes, and accordingly, the positions, areas, depths and number of the recesses 1 are effectively adjusted so as to prevent uncomfortability caused by the recesses while allowing gravel or to drop into the recesses.
