目 的
(考案の産業上の利用分野)
この考案は、分割フランジを用いるフランジ継
手に関する。水、油、蒸気、気体等の搬送に用い
られる管継手として、向い合う管の端部に設けた
分割フランジをボルト止めさせるフランジ継手が
ある。このフランジ継手は、複数の固定用ボルト
孔を両分割フランジの同一円周上に穿設し、該孔
にボルトを通すようになつているが、ボルト孔の
孔あけ精度や作業環境を考慮して、ボルトより幾
分大きな径にボルト孔を穿設させている。このた
め、管の内圧を受けて、特に高圧物を搬送させよ
うとすると、対向フランジ間に、ボルトとボルト
孔との最大すきま量に応じた円周方向および半径
方向の相対的ずれが生じ、シール材と管との接触
圧をきわめて強い部分とにし、シール効果を低下

ランジ3の端面に、一定の接触圧の下で密接す
る。分割フランジ4の内周面の一端に半径方向内
方に突出する環状の爪9を設け、該爪9を管2の
溝10に係合させる。爪9に代えて、分割フラン
ジ4の内周面に溝を設け、管2に対して自己収縮
力で保持されるリングを該溝と係合させることも
できる。分割フランジ4の分割部は、互いに突出
する重合部11,12を設け、該重合部11,1
2を重ね合せた時、フランジ4の本体部と肉厚と
