Conventionally, in this type of vehicle sliding door, a window 2 is provided at the top of the door 1 as shown in FIG.
A vertically sliding window glass 3 is attached to the window 2,
The window glass 3 has a guide groove 4 installed inside the door 1,
Slide up and down along 4. However, inside the door 1 there is a remote control unit 8 for the lock mechanism 7 of the door 1 connected to the outside handle 5 and the inside handle 6, and a slide adjustment mechanism 9 for the window glass 3.
and a handle 10 etc. are housed therein.

These mechanisms interfere with the vertical sliding range of the window glass 3, and as a result, the window glass 3 moves down only from the position indicated by the two-dot chain line to the position indicated by the dotted line where these mechanisms do not interfere. As shown in Fig. 2, if the door 1 is made thicker, it is possible to store these mechanisms in a position where they do not interfere with the vertical sliding range of the window glass 3, but if the door 1 is made thicker, the outer side of the door 1 when opened is This is not desirable for sliding doors, as the amount of protrusion increases and the interior space is also lost. For this reason, window glass that can be slid left and right is also available. Sliding doors using this type of window glass have the advantage that these mechanisms do not interfere with the left and right sliding of the window glass without making the door thicker, and therefore the amount of the door protruding outward when opened can be reduced. However, it is difficult to fully open the window glass or to automate the opening and closing of the window glass.

The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems and to make the vertical sliding range of the window glass unrestricted in any way in a sliding door to which a vertical sliding type window glass is applied. A window 12 is provided above the door 11 of the expanded entrance/exit 22, and a vertically sliding window glass 13 is attached to the window 12. The lock mechanism 17 of the door 11 and the slide adjustment mechanism 19 of the window glass 13 do not interfere with the vertical sliding range of the window glass 13 within the bulge 112. The main idea is to accumulate and store them in this way.

In a type of vehicle in which the entrance/exit door 22 is extended above the rear wheels 23, there is a portion in front of the door 11 that does not correspond to the side surface of the vehicle body 21 even when the door 11 is fully open. In the sliding door 11 of the present invention, the bulging portion 112 is provided using such a portion of the door 11, so that the locking mechanism 17 of the door 11 and the sliding adjustment mechanism of the window glass 13 can be adjusted without increasing the thickness of the entire door 11. 19 and the like are arranged so as not to interfere with the vertical sliding range of the window glass 13 by being accumulated and stored in the bulge 112. Further, the bulging portion 112 does not interfere with the side surface of the vehicle body 21 even when the door is fully open.

Therefore, in the present invention, the window glass can be slid up and down over the entire vertical dimension of the window without reducing the amount of protrusion when the sliding door is opened and without reducing the indoor space. Furthermore, the window glass of the front door and the window glass of the sliding door, which is the rear door, can be flush with each other.

The present invention will be explained with reference to an embodiment shown in FIG. 3 and below. As shown in FIG. 3, 11 is a sliding door of an entrance/exit 22 arranged on the side of a vehicle body 21;
The entrance/exit door 22 extends above the wheel cover 24 of the rear wheel 23, and a window 12 is provided at the top of the door 11, and a vertically sliding window glass 13 is attached to the window 12. The sliding door 11 is opened and closed by sliding from the solid line position in FIG. 3 to the two-dot chain line position. The window glass 13 of the door 11 slides up and down along guide grooves 14, 14 in the range shown from the dashed line to the dotted line in FIG. When the door 11 is fully open, the door 11
The front edge of the door 11 is located in front of the wheel cover 24 of the rear wheel 23, and in the front part of the door 11 there is a part on the side of the vehicle body, and in this front part, the inner panel 11 is located.
1 protrudes inward, and a bulging portion 112 is provided. The bulging portion 112 is provided with the window glass 13.
A handle mechanism 20 connected to a remote control unit 18 of a lock mechanism 17 of a door 11 connected to an outside handle and an inside handle 16 and a slide adjustment mechanism 19 of a window glass 13 is integrated and stored while avoiding the vertical sliding range of the door handle 16.

In the above configuration, the vertical sliding range of the window glass 13 can be adjusted without interfering with the door lock mechanism housed in the bulge 112 of the door 11 or the handle mechanism for adjusting the slide of the window glass 13. It is now possible to slide vertically over the entire vertical dimension, and even though the bulging portion 112 is formed, the main part of the door 11 can be moved indoors because the door inner panel 111 shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 5 is on the conventional reference plane. No space is reduced. Further, when the door 11 is fully open, the bulging portion 112 does not interfere with the side surface of the vehicle body 10. Furthermore, as shown in FIG.
When closed, the inner surface of the front door 25, the inner surface of the center pillar 20, and the inner surface of the bulging portion 112 of the sliding door 11, which is the rear door, can be made substantially flush with each other, and the window glass of the front door 25 and the window glass of the sliding door 11 can be made flush with each other. It is also possible to make it flush with 13.
