[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a method for producing a wood decorative material, which involves forming a heat-fusible pattern layer on a wood base material, forming a resin layer on top of the pattern layer, and then forming a resin layer on top of the pattern layer. Heat and pressure treatment is applied to cause the pattern layer to flow, creating a unique flow pattern.

Traditionally, this type of decorative wood material has been manufactured by applying a primer coat or directly to the base plywood, then applying patterns such as wood grain patterns by screen printing or gravure offset printing, and then applying alkyd-based,
It is known that a polyester-based or polyurethane-based clear paint is applied.

Therefore, in the present invention, a pattern layer made of a thermofusible resin composition is formed on a wooden base material, and after a resin layer is formed on this, the entire structure is subjected to heat-pressure treatment to flow the pattern layer. At the same time, the resin layer was turned into a coating, making it easy to create a continuous flowing pattern.

FIGS. 1 to 3 show an example of the manufacturing method of the present invention in the order of steps, and the reference numeral 1 in the figures is a wooden base material. This wood base material 1 includes decorative plywood with a decorative veneer such as natural veneer or artificial wood veneer, natural wood board, and WPC (Wood Plastic).
Wood-based materials with relatively high aesthetic value, such as treated plywood, are preferred.

First, a pattern layer 2 is formed on the surface of this wooden base material 1, as shown in FIG. This pattern layer 2 is
During post-process heat and pressure treatment, coloring agents such as dyes and pigments and metal powders such as aluminum powder, copper powder, and brass powder are mixed with resin that has the property of melting under the heat and pressure conditions to create the desired color and tone. A desired design, pattern, etc. is drawn using a colored resin composition by a printing method such as a screen printing method or a masking method. As the above resin,
A material with good adhesion to the wood base material 1 is used, and either a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin can be used. When a thermosetting resin is used, it is applied onto the wood base material 1 in a partially cured or semi-cured state. The formulation and patterning method are selected so that the coating is applied. As the thermoplastic resin, acrylic resin, styrene resin, vinyl chloride resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc. are used, and as the thermosetting resin, epoxy resin, urethane resin, polyester resin, etc. are used. Furthermore, as the pattern, patterns with unclear outlines such as a bird's eye heather pattern or a flame pattern are mainly used. The thickness of the pattern layer 2 is set to be somewhat thick, 10 to 200 μm, to improve fluidity.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, a resin layer 3 is formed on the pattern layer 2. This resin layer 3 is provided on the entire surface of the wooden base material 1 and completely covers the pattern layer 2.
The resin forming the resin layer 3 may be either thermoplastic or thermosetting, and may be liquid or powder.
It must be transparent, colored transparent or semi-transparent so that it can be seen through, and the wood base material 1
A material that adheres well to is preferable. Specifically, epoxy resin, epoxy polyester resin, epoxy phenol resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB)
Powder resins such as are suitable. In addition, in the case of powder resin, this resin layer 3 is adhered onto the base material 1 by an electrostatic coating method or a spraying method, and is melted in a heating furnace such as a far-infrared heating furnace and placed on the base material 1. In the case of a liquid resin, a method of adhering it onto the base material 1 using a normal coating device such as a roll coater is adopted. The thickness of this resin layer 3 is approximately 100 to 300 μm.

Next, the whole is subjected to heat and pressure treatment using a hot press or the like, so that the resin layer 3 is formed into a smooth coating film and the pattern layer 2 is made to flow, as shown in FIG. The heat and pressure treatment conditions must be at a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the resin forming the pattern layer 2, and an appropriate pressure is required to cause the pattern layer 2 to flow appropriately. Specifically, the temperature varies depending on the type of resin forming the pattern layer 2 and resin layer 3, but usually the temperature is 100~100℃.
The temperature is set at 140℃ and the pressure is set in the range of 0.1~1MPa. During this heat and pressure treatment, it is necessary to place a release film such as a PET film, a polypropylene film, or a polyvinyl fluoride resin film on the resin layer 3. In addition, if the resin forming the resin layer 3 is a thermosetting resin, it can be hot-hot pressed.
Thermoplastic resins can be processed by hot-cold pressing, and in this respect, it is most preferable to use thermosetting powder epoxy resins from the viewpoint of production efficiency.

In such a manufacturing method, the pattern layer 2 melts and flows during the heat-pressure treatment, and a flowing pattern appears.
This pattern has a continuous change in color shading, each with a slightly different and random character, and also includes bird's eye heathered patterns, flame patterns, metallic flow patterns, etc. that could not be expressed by stamping alone. I can express it. Moreover, since the pattern layer 2 is provided at the bottom of the transparent resin layer 3, a three-dimensional effect can also be obtained.

FIG. 5 shows a wood decorative material obtained by another example of the manufacturing method of the present invention. In this example, a resin treatment is first applied to the wood base material 1 to form a smooth base layer 4. Then, a pattern layer 2 and a resin layer 3 were provided thereon and subjected to heat and pressure treatment. As the above-mentioned resin treatment, an impregnation treatment in which the resin liquid is impregnated and solidified, a coating treatment in which the resin liquid is applied, a method in which powdered resin is sprinkled and heat-pressure treatment, etc. are appropriately selected.
