記接続ナツト14には放射方向に3本の取付ネジ
16が螺合しており、この取付ネジ16の先端部
には合成樹脂(例えばポリプロピレン)製の保護
キヤツプ17が取付けられている。この保護キヤ
ツプ17は取付ネジ16の先端部に一体成形した
ものや、接着剤にて固定したもの、さらには取付
ネジ16の先端部に単に嵌着したものでもよい。
上記取付ネジ16の保護キヤツプ17は水道の蛇
口18の外面に圧着しており、蛇口18と接続パ
ツキン15とが密着した状態を保持している。

護キヤツプ17が蛇口18に対して若干下方に摺
動し、保護キヤツプ17が蛇口18の先端に形成
した突部18a(第6図参照)に当つて停止する。
これによつて、蛇口18と本体11との傾きが修
正され、蛇口18と接続パツキン15とは全面で
均一に圧着する。

ができ、蛇口と接続パツキンとを強力にかつ均一
に圧着させることができる。したがつて、誰にで
も簡単に連結することができ、かつ、水漏れする
心配もない。
