Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate a ventilating fan for satisfactorily drying walls when the vicinity of a dew sensor is dry but the inside of a bathroom is not dry enough, by a method wherein the ventilating fan is operated based on a reference value a certain value lower than the preset reference humidity after a power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:On a ceiling 5 of a bathroom 4, a dew detector 1 which detects humidity and outputs signals, a controller 2 which encloses the dew detector 1, and a recessed type ventilating fan 3 are mounted, and a wall switch 6 is attached on a wall outside the bathroom 4. When a user turns on a power source by the wall switch 6, the recessed type ventilating fan 3 is operated and stopped for a certain time period according to a reference humidity a certain value lower than the set reference humidity which is previously set by a switch 7. Therefore, in the winter season, even when the power source is turned on several hours after bath is used but not immediately after bath is used, and dew still remains on the wall in the bathroom although air around the dew detector 1 is dry, the recessed type ventilating fan is operated for a certain time period to attain the purpose of ventilation.

As shown in FIG. 2, the characteristic of the dew condensation sensor is that the resistance value changes with changes in humidity. The device was operated by setting the reference humidity to a predetermined value (point A in Figure 2), and when the humidity exceeded the reference humidity, the ICM was operated, and when the humidity fell below the reference humidity, the ventilation fan was stopped. Furthermore, in the winter, when the ventilation fan runs while taking a bath, the user feels cold, so after taking a bath, the user turns on the power and starts automatic operation.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention With such a conventional configuration, in the case of rainy weather, there is a malfunction in which the ventilation fan is operated by detecting the atmospheric humidity outside the bathroom. To prevent this, high humidity detection settings are set. I often left it on. When a user turns on the power after taking a bath in the winter, it is not always necessary to turn on the power immediately after taking a bath, but in many cases, for example, several hours after finishing a bath before going to bed. Despite this, the area around the dew condensation sensor became dry and the detected humidity fell below the standard humidity, causing the inconvenience that the ventilation fan was not operated and sufficient ventilation could not be achieved.

The present invention solves these problems, and after turning on the power, when the area around the dew condensation sensor is dry but the inside of the bathroom is not sufficiently dry, the ventilation fan can be operated to sufficiently dry the walls, etc. The purpose is to do what is possible.

Means for Solving the Problem In order to solve this problem, the present invention includes a dew condensation sensor that detects the humidity in the bathroom and sends a signal, and a sensor that receives the signal from the dew condensation sensor and responds to a preset reference humidity. The device has a control unit that operates or stops a ventilation fan in the bathroom, and is configured to lower the reference humidity by a certain value for a certain period of time after the power is turned on.

Effect With this configuration, the reference humidity is low for a certain period of time after the power is turned on, and the ventilation fan is operated or stopped based on this.

For example, a dew condensation sensor 1 that detects humidity and outputs a signal on a ceiling surface 6 in the bathroom 4, a control unit 2 that incorporates the dew condensation sensor 1, and a ceiling-embedded ventilation fan 3 are installed on a wall surface outside the bathroom 4. A wall switch 6 is attached to the wall. The control unit 2 receives the signal from the dew condensation sensor 1 and operates or stops the ceiling-embedded ventilation fan 3 in accordance with a preset reference humidity, and allows the user to set the reference humidity to a desired value. It is equipped with a switch 7. wall switch 6
is a switch that turns the power on and off. The enclosed control unit 2 is connected to a power source and ceiling-embedded ventilation M3 through a wall switch 6.

In the above configuration, when the user turns on the power using the wall switch 6, the ceiling-embedded ventilation lW3 is operated or stopped for a certain period of time using the humidity lowered to the reference humidity set by the setting switch 7 as a reference value. Therefore, for example, in winter, if you turn on the power several hours later instead of turning on the power immediately after taking a bath, you may notice that there are still many water droplets on the walls of the bathroom 4, but there are still water droplets near the condensation sensor 1. Even if the air in the building is dry, ceiling-embedded ventilation@3 will be operated for a certain period of time to achieve the purpose of ventilation.

Note that after the power is turned on, the standard humidity is set close to a certain value and used as the standard value, but this reduced value is based on the humidity in particularly humid parts of the bathroom that require ventilation and the area around the condensation sensor at that time. It is determined by experimentally determining the correlation between humidity and humidity, and the optimal value is about 10%.

After controlling at a low reference humidity for a certain period of time, the reference humidity is changed to the reference humidity set by the setting switch and the ceiling-embedded ventilation fan 3 is controlled. When the condensation sensor 1 detects humidity higher than this reference humidity, the ceiling-embedded ventilation fan 3 is operated, and when it detects that the humidity in the bathroom 4 has decreased to the reference humidity, it shifts to residual slow operation. After a certain period of time has elapsed, the ceiling-embedded ventilation fan 3 stops.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above description of the embodiments, according to the present invention, the operation of the ventilation fan is controlled at each period using the humidity lowered by a certain value as the reference humidity set in advance after the power is turned on. However, if you turn on the power several hours after taking a bath and there are many water droplets remaining on the walls of the bathroom and ventilation is required, turn on the ventilation fan even if the area near the condensation sensor is dry. The effect is that the ventilation purpose is reliably achieved through automatic operation.
