不安定な状態になつている為である。 On the other hand, solid rivets do not have such drawbacks and can firmly rive the material to be fastened, but it is difficult to automatically feed the material into the pilot hole of the material to be fastened. That is, when attempting to automatically guide and insert the rivet into a pilot hole formed with a slight tolerance from the outside diameter of the rivet body, the rivet and the area around the pilot hole may be damaged due to incorrect insertion.
Moreover, a situation may occur in which the rivet falls down during its descent before being inserted into the prepared hole. This is because the rivet is pushed down from the catcher by the stem and comes into contact with the pilot pin protruding from below on a flat surface, making it extremely unstable even if an attempt is made to guide it into the pilot hole.

である。(Problems to be solved by the present invention) As described above, hollow rivets can be automatically supplied, but the fastening force is low, while solid rivets have high fastening force, but cannot be automatically fed and cannot be easily supplied to the lower hole of the material to be fastened. A problem exists in that the rivet must be manually inserted and press riveted. The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems and provides an automatic feeding device that uses solid rivets with high fastening force to prevent overturning and damage to the rivets.

On the other hand, a projecting piece that fits into the center punch hole is projected from the tip of the pilot pin built in the punch, and the pilot pin is brought into contact with the rivet and accurately guided to the prepared hole without being displaced laterally. Furthermore, the present invention is characterized in that a support for the material to be fastened is provided on the outer surface of the punch. The support may constantly lift the fastened material (at least at the start of riveting) by a spring, and may be made of rubber, urethane, etc., as long as the upper end of the support is in contact with the lower surface of the fastened material.

The solid rivet (hereinafter abbreviated as rivet) consists of a head 11 and a body 12, and a center punch hole 14 is formed in the lower end surface 13 of the body 12. The shape of the center hole 14 is arbitrary, and may be a conical shape as shown in FIG. 1, a hemispherical shape, or a cylindrical shape. However, it can function satisfactorily as long as its size is appropriate for a solid rivet and the protrusion at the tip of the pilot pin can fit into it.

The rivet 1 is held by the catcher 16, and the pilot pin 17 is in contact with the lower end surface 13. ing. A projecting piece 18 protrudes from the tip of the pilot pin 17, which fits into the center punch hole 14 of the rivet 1, and is inserted into the lower hole 15 using the pilot pin as a guide. The pilot pin 17 is attached to the center shaft of the punch 4 so as to be freely slidable, and is supported by a spring 19 that always applies an upward force, and is lowered from the head 11 of the rivet 1 by compression of the stem 6. Then, the rivet 1 is inserted into the pilot hole 15 of the fastened material 3,
Due to the compressive force of the stem 6, it further descends to the state shown in FIG. In this case, the material to be fastened 3 is supported by a support 5 attached to the outer periphery of the punch 4 so as to be movable up and down, and therefore the upper surface 2 of the material to be fastened 3
0 leaves no gap between the head 11 of the rivet 1 and the head 11 of the rivet 1. The support 5 is also always subjected to an upward force by the spring 21, and the compressive force of the stem 6 pushes down the fastened member 3, and the support 5 also descends at the same time.

In short, it is necessary to support the material 3 to be fastened at the start of riveting, to provide a gap between the upper end surface 22 of the punch 4 and the material 3 to be fastened, and to prevent a gap from occurring between the head 11 of the rivet 1 and the top surface 20 of the material 3 to be fastened. 以下に述べる効果を得ることができる。In this state, the rivet 1 is compressed by the punch 4, but the bottom end of the contact portion 23 extending downward from the support surface 25 of the spring 19 contacts the top surface of the adjustment nut 24 at the bottom end of the pilot pin 17. It is prevented from descending and thus acts as an auxiliary punch. As described above, the solid rivet supply device with a center punch hole according to the present invention has a small protrusion 18 protruding from the tip of the pilot pin 17, and the center punch hole 14 into which the protrusion 18 can fit is formed on the lower end surface. Using the rivet 1 provided at 13, the rivet 1 is inserted into the pilot hole 15 of the material to be fastened 3 using the pilot pin 17 as the stem 6 is compressed, and the material to be fastened 3 is constantly inserted. Supported by support 5, rivet 1
This prevents a gap from forming between the head 11 and the head 11.

Breakage of the rivet 1 and occurrence of scratches around the pilot hole 15 of the fastened material 3 can be prevented, and the solid rivet 1 can be automatically supplied, making the work extremely efficient.

At least when riveting starts, not creating a gap between the upper surface 20 of the fastened material 3 and the head 11 of the rivet 1 means that the rivet 1 will be compressed between it and the punch 4 by the stem 6 and start plastic deformation. The riveting always starts from the lower end surface 13 of the body 12, allowing extremely strong riveting.
