本発明はインパクト方式のプリンタに関し、特に開音機
構部から発生する騒音レベルを設定値内に押えて印字を

印字音検出素子2は、入力される印字音1のレベルに比
例した出力を比較器3に入力する。比較器3の他の入力
はデジタルスイッチ4が接続され該スイッチ4は、騒音
レベルに応じて使用者が設定できる。従って比較器3で
は該スイッチ4で設定される騒音レベルを基準とし、印
字音検出素子2から入力される印字音レベルを比較照合
し、結果を制御部5に人力する。更に制御部5は比較器
3から入力される信号に応じて印字速度切換部6を制御
し、該スイッチ4で設定されている騒音1ノベルに収束
するように動作する。例えば上述で説明した如く、印字
