BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Various film-like materials are used as sealing members for cup-shaped containers filled with contents in a cup filling line. For example, long seal members having a laminate structure in which a metal foil such as aluminum is bonded to a thermoplastic resin film such as polyvinylidene chloride, polyethylene, or polypropylene, and long seal members made of a single thermoplastic resin are known. However, while the former provides excellent protection against deterioration and deterioration of the contents caused by direct sunlight and ultraviolet irradiation, as well as moisture and rot due to moisture in the atmosphere, the manufacturing cost increases due to the use of a laminate structure. This has led to other inconveniences such as soaring prices. On the other hand, since the latter is manufactured from a single thermoplastic resin material, its manufacturing cost is lower than that of the former, and it can be used as a sealing device that can be applied to various filling contents including foodstuffs. Its usefulness has been evaluated. On the other hand, the latter is inferior in its ability to block ultraviolet rays and moisture in the air compared to the former, so its uses are limited depending on the type of filling contents.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In general-purpose cup filling equipment, the general operation mode is to switch the same filling line and selectively fill multiple types of contents. Different sealing members are used depending on the type of product, and the function of protecting the contents and reducing the manufacturing cost are both achieved to a certain extent. However, when using a laminate sealing member made of metal foil and synthetic resin film, the materials are expensive, so it is necessary to cut them as effectively as possible, but it is difficult to cut them after sealing, and the remaining material after cutting is difficult. In order to roll up and collect the remaining material, there is a problem in applying tension due to the strength of the remaining material. On the other hand, when using a single synthetic resin sealing member, the method of cutting after sealing is suitable for mass production. In the seal supply devices of cup filling machines, sufficient consideration is not necessarily given to the different uses of the seal members, and separate seal supply devices are used depending on the type of seal member, or complicated switching is required. In many cases, additional equipment is required, and problems such as delays in changeover work and increased costs for final products and cup filling equipment have not been completely resolved.

Means for Solving the Problems In view of the above object, the present invention provides a top seal 3 that is attached to the upper opening of a cup-shaped container 2 that moves at a constant speed while being placed on the cup receiving conveyor 1.
This is a seal feeding device for delivering a seal while synchronizing with the moving speed of the cup-shaped container 2, and includes a rotation support mechanism 7 for a reel 6 that winds up a long seal member 4 or 5 having a register mark; A register mark detection mechanism 8 disposed along the travel path of the long reel member 4 or 5 that has been rewound from the rotation support mechanism 7 of No. 6, and cutting of the top seal located downstream of the register mark detection mechanism 8. and a delivery mechanism 9, a sealing mechanism 10, and a cutting mechanism 11. If the sealing member is a laminate structure 4 of metal foil and synthetic resin film, the top seal cutting and delivery mechanism 9 and sealing mechanism 10 are also made of synthetic resin. In the case of the film 5, a seal supply device in a cup filling machine is constructed in which a sealing mechanism 10 and a cutting mechanism 11 are selectively connected to each other and are operated by a control signal transmitted from the register mark detection mechanism 8. The main points are as follows.

As a component common to the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, there is a component located upstream of the top seal cutting and delivery mechanism 9 on the travel path of the long seal member 4 or 5 fed out from the reel 6. A register mark detecting mechanism 8 is provided to obtain the register mark. The register mark detection mechanism detects a known register mark printed on the ears (edges) of the long seal members 4 and 5, and uses the detection signal to detect the seal 3 for the cup-shaped container 2. It is a non-contact type control signal transmission mechanism that adjusts the sending speed or supply timing of the liquid, and specific examples thereof include a proximity switch, a phototube, a photodiode, etc. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the register mark detection mechanism 8 determines the speed of the elongated seal member 4 introduced into the cutting and delivery mechanism 9 of the top seal 3 disposed on the downstream side of the register mark detection mechanism 8, and determines the speed of the seal punching. A first detection switch 8a activates a brake device (not shown) to lower the pressure to a predetermined level prior to the operation, and a first detection switch 8a activates a brake device (not shown) to lower the pressure to a predetermined level. and a second detection switch 8b connected to a drive source. That is, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the register mark detection mechanism 8 not only synchronizes the feeding speeds of the cup receiving conveyor 1 and the long seal member 4, but also controls the cutting of the top seal and the transfer speed to the delivery mechanism 9. It forms part of a speed adjustment device for regulating the intermittent feeding speed of the long seal member 4. On the other hand, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the top seal cutting and delivery mechanism 9 is always inactive, and the elongated seal member 5 is moved in synchronization with the cup-shaped container 2.
It reaches the sealing mechanism 10 without being cut, and is welded to the top opening of the cup-shaped container as the top seal 3. Therefore, the register mark detection mechanism 8 in the embodiment shown in FIG. functions as a control signal transmission mechanism.

More specifically, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the top seal 3 cutting mechanism 11 and the second scrap film winding reel 13 located downstream of the sealing mechanism 10 are as follows: The long seal member 4, which is always in a non-operating state and is sent out from the reel 6, is decelerated by a control signal transmitted from the register mark detection mechanism 8, and then passes through the top seal 3 cutting and delivery mechanism. 9, the top seal 3 is punched out while stopping momentarily, and the long seal member 4 after punching is wound onto the first take-up reel 12 as a scrap film. On the other hand, the punched top seal 3 is transferred to the upper surface of the cup-shaped container 2 in synchronization with the cup receiving conveyor 1 using the suction and spraying action of the seal delivery drum 9', which is a component of the cutting and delivery mechanism 9. The top opening of the cup-shaped container 2 is sealed using the welding of the thermoplastic resin film, which is the material for forming the top seal 3, in the sealing mechanism 10.

On the other hand, in the embodiment shown in FIG.
The first take-up reel 12 and the cutting and delivery mechanism 9 are in an inactive state, and the long seal member 5 fed out from the reel 6 is activated by a control signal transmitted from the register mark detection mechanism 8. Therefore, it runs continuously in synchronization with the cup receiving conveyor 1, and is welded to the top opening of the cup-shaped container 2 as a top seal 3 in the sealing mechanism 10, and then cut from the top seal 3 in the cutting mechanism 11. be separated. The remaining long seal member 5 separated from the top seal 3 is attached to the reel 6.
The film is continuously wound as a scrap film onto a second take-up reel 13 that rotates in synchronization with the film.
