As described above, according to the present invention, there is provided a case having a cylindrical switch housing tube portion extending in the vertical direction and communication holes located at the upper and lower portions, a reed switch fixed within the switch housing tube portion, and a case for housing the switch. In a liquid level detector comprising a float that is loosely fitted around the outer periphery of a pipe section and has a magnet on the inner peripheral surface that can actuate the switch when it approaches the reed switch, the center of the pipe section is located within the switch housing pipe section. a plate-shaped main body part that is fitted along the axis and divides the interior of the switch housing tube into first and second chambers each having a substantially semi-cylindrical shape; A switch stand is constituted by a lid part welded to the open end of the accommodation tube part, and the first chamber includes the lead which is fitted into a switch accommodation groove recessed on one side of the plate-shaped main body part. A switch is disposed, and the tips of a pair of connection terminals extending from both ends of the reed switch are bent in the same direction at approximately right angles to pass through both ends of the plate-shaped main body, respectively. The tips protruding from the other side of the plate-shaped main body are soldered to the pair of lead wire terminals housed in the second chamber, so that the opening end of the switch housing tube part of the switch stand lid body is By welding, the reed switch can be accurately positioned inside the switch housing tube via the switch stand, and the inside of the housing tube can be reliably sealed with the lid. Since there is no need to use a reed switch, the workability of installing the reed switch is good. Moreover, the plate-shaped main body of the switch stand is
By fitting the both side edges and the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical switch accommodation tube part, it is possible to effectively restrict wobbling of the free end of the plate-shaped main body part. Further, the inside of the switch housing tube is divided into first and second chambers each having a substantially semi-cylindrical shape by the plate-shaped main body, and the reed switch is disposed in the first chamber and the lead wire terminal is disposed in the second chamber. Since the housing groove for the reed switch is recessed on one side of the plate-shaped main body, the reed switch can be housed inside the switch housing tube without having to make it very large in diameter.
The switch stand and the lead wire terminal can be accommodated easily, and the solder joint between the reed switch connection terminal and the lead wire terminal is located on the opposite side of the reed switch across the plate-shaped main body. The reed switch can be effectively protected by the plate-shaped main body during soldering work,
Damage to the reed switch due to contact with high-temperature brazing metal can be prevented. Furthermore, the tips of the pair of connection terminals at both ends of the reed switch are bent at approximately right angles in the same direction and pass through both ends of the plate-shaped main body, so that the reed switch itself can be attached to the switch stand by the penetration. It can be easily and accurately positioned, and by simply soldering the ends of both connection terminals to the ends of both lead wires on the other side of the plate-shaped main body while maintaining their penetrating state, the ends of both connection terminals can be easily and accurately positioned. Since separation from both ends of the plate-shaped main body can be reliably prevented, the reed switch can always be correctly positioned and held at a predetermined position on the switch stand, even in the assembled state before the switch stand is set in the switch housing tube. Moreover, since the soldering portion also serves as a holding means for the reed switch with respect to the switch stand, there is no need to provide a special holding means for the reed switch, which contributes to the simplification of the structure.
