外観上の体裁が良くなかつた。(Prior art and its problems) Conventionally, in order to install the duct in the ceiling of the vehicle body when installing the above-mentioned air conditioning system in a railway vehicle, the duct had to be made in an almost perfect shape at the factory in advance. Then, this duct is supported by a duct support frame attached to the lower surface of the roof of the vehicle body, and then a plurality of crosspieces for supporting ceiling panels are arranged horizontally below this support frame, and these crosspieces are connected via hanging trees. They were suspended from the underside of the roof, and ceiling panels made of thin decorative veneer were attached to these beams from the underside. However, a large number of components such as duct support frames, crosspieces, and hanging rods are required, and the work of attaching the duct support frame and hanging rods to the lower surface of the roof of the vehicle body, as well as the work of attaching the ceiling panel to the crosspieces, all require upward work. (The work was done while looking upwards), which made the work extremely difficult and inefficient. Furthermore, since the ceiling panel was made of thin veneer, it tended to become wavy and deformed even after installation, resulting in an unsightly appearance.

and the rear end wall part a2 , and thus the pair of duct side wall frames 3, 3 on both sides, the ceiling panel 5, the roof part B of the vehicle body A, and the wall part a1 ,
A cold air duct 1 consisting of 2 is formed. That is, the frames 3, 3 cover both vertical walls of the cold air duct 1, the ceiling panel 5 covers its bottom wall, and the front transverse partition wall a1 and the rear end wall a2 cover its horizontal walls. The both side walls and the roof B of the vehicle main body A form the upper wall thereof. And this cold air duct 1
Although not shown, the vehicle has a cold air inlet opened at an appropriate location such as the front and rear ends or the middle of the roof B of the vehicle body, and the cold air from the cooling air device in the device body C is introduced through this inlet. It is becoming more and more like this. On the other hand, as schematically shown in FIG. 2, each return duct 2 is constructed by inserting a cylindrical duct body 6 with open upper and lower ends into a notch in which a part of the duct side wall frame 3 is cut out. The upper end of the duct body 6 is fixed to the roof B, and a suction grill 7 is attached to the lower end opening of the duct body 6.
The air sucked in from the inside of the vehicle is introduced into the cooling device of the device body C through a communication port 8 opened in the roof B. Incidentally, the suction grill 7 is attached to the duct body 6 so that it can be pivoted to open and close, so that it can be easily cleaned.

Flange parts 9 and 10 are formed at the upper ends of the wall part 3a and the outer wall part 3b, respectively, and when installing each frame 3, these flange parts 9 and 10 are attached to the roof of the vehicle body A with screws 11. It is attached to the bottom surface of part B. In addition, the ceiling panel 5 has a core material 5 made of paper honeycomb or the like.
A front plate 5b and a back plate 5c made of plywood or the like are attached to both the front and back sides of panel a, and a reinforcing edging material 13 is attached to the periphery of the panel 5 and the periphery of the outlet grill attachment opening 12.
As shown in FIG. 3, the air outlet grill 4 is attached to each air outlet grill mounting opening 12 together with an air volume adjustment plate 15 with screws 16, and as shown in FIG. A sheet-shaped heat insulating material 17 made of foamed polyethylene is adhered to the back surface of the panel 5 except for the opening 12. In addition, in this way, the heat insulating material 17 is attached to the inner wall portion 3a of the duct side wall frame 3 and the vehicle body A.
The heat insulating material 17 is also attached to the lower surface of the roof B of the cooling air duct 1 so that the inner circumferential surface of the cold air duct 1 is covered with the heat insulating material 17. When installing the ceiling panel 5, after each duct side wall frame 3 is installed on the roof B, this ceiling panel 5 is held horizontally so that the lower ends of the pair of duct side wall frames 3, 3 are Then, place both ends of the ceiling panel 5 in contact with the mounting brackets 18 attached to the lower end of the inner wall 3a of each frame 3, and apply the presser members 19 to the lower surface side of the mounting brackets 18 and tighten the screws. 20, it is sufficient to attach and fix it to the mounting bracket 18. By attaching the ceiling panel 5 in this manner, the ceiling panel 5 and the opposing inner wall portions 3 of the pair of duct side wall frames 3, 3 on both sides
A cold air duct 1 is formed, which includes a roof portion B, a roof portion B, and wall portions a 1 and a 2 .

A ceiling panel 5 made of a composite board such as the above is attached, and the side wall frames 3, 3 and both front and rear ends of the ceiling panel 5 are connected to wall sections a1 , a2 extending across the vehicle body A and integrally therewith. The duct side wall frames 3, 3, the ceiling panel 5, the roof B of the vehicle body A, and the walls a1 and a2 are connected to the walls a1 and a2, respectively, and are connected to the walls a1 and a2 . When installing the cold air duct 1, the top wall and front and rear end walls of the duct 1 are extended integrally with the roof B of the vehicle body A and the vehicle body, respectively. The components that are actually manufactured and installed on the vehicle body A side are the ceiling panel 5 equipped with the duct side wall frames 3, 3 and the air outlet grille 4 .
Only two members are required, therefore, the number of parts to be manufactured and installed is significantly less than that of the conventional method, and the upward installation work is also reduced, which reduces the manufacturing cost of the duct, and
The work of installing the duct can be done easily and efficiently. It is especially suitable for installing air conditioning ducts on conventional vehicles. In addition, since the ceiling panel is made of a composite board such as a honeycomb board, there is no need for conventional crosspieces when installing it, and since the ceiling panel itself is a rigid body, it does not deform after installation. This also improves the appearance of the product.
