Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve acoustic absorption effect and prevent deformation by forming an air conditioning duct with an acoustic absorption material, covering the lower part with a support member which has a ceiling function with a large number of small holes, and installing a pendant metal fitting to said support member. CONSTITUTION:A duct 31 is formed by an acoustic absorption member made of glass wool, and its lower part and side parts are covered with a support member 33, which comprises metal sheets and plays the role of a ceiling function of a building. The support member 33 which has a large number of small holes on its lower part, is formed in U shape in cross section. Its both ends are inwardly fold, thereby forming a flange 35 to which two pendant metal fitting 36 are welded respectively. A fixed metal fitting 38 is inserted into the pendant metal fittings 36 respectively. When the duct 31 is lowered to a slab with the pendant metal fittings 36, a noise from a music hall or the like enters the duct 31 effectively and the noise can be satisfactorily absorbed. Furthermore, the support member 33 supports the entire lower part of the duct 31, which makes it possible to prevent the deformation of the duct 31 without fail.

As described above, in the air conditioning duct of the present invention, the duct for air supply and exhaust is formed of a sound-absorbing material, and at least the lower surface of the duct is covered with a holding member having a large number of small holes and functioning as the ceiling of the building. , to this holding member,
We have placed a hanging metal fitting to hang the holding member on the slab, so when it is hung on the slab using the hanging metal fitting, the noise from music halls etc. will be absorbed through the small hole formed in the holding member into a duct made of sound absorbing material. The sound absorption effect of the duct can be improved, and since the entire lower surface of the duct is supported by the holding member, deformation of the duct can be reliably prevented.
