Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the extent of safety by installing both inlet and outlet ports for odor at a position adjoining a toilet stool, interconnecting a duct and an ozonier together, while having an adsorbent and a blower built-in at the downstream, and providing a control part controlling over the operation of air blasting and ozonization as long as the specified time after stool. CONSTITUTION:A seat 3 and a stool cover 4 being free of opening or closing are installed in a body 2 clamped to the upper rear of a toilet stool 1 and both inlet and outlet ports for odor are set up on the underside of the body 2, interconnecting a duct 8 to them. In addition, an ozonizer 9, a physical adsorbent 10 and a blower 13 are all installed in this duct 8. When a person takes a seat, a seating detector detects it, transmitting a signal to a control part 14, and the blower 13 is operated and when the human body goes off the stool 1 after stool, this blower 13 is continued as long as the specified time, energizing the ozonizer 9. With this constitution, it is usable as a deodorizer in a semipermanent way.

As shown in the figure, a box 43 has a toilet seat 48 at one end, an odor inlet 41 opening into the toilet inner surface 40, and an outlet 42 facing into the toilet at the other end. Ozone is generated in a high-pressure discharger 45, odor is oxidized in a reaction chamber 46, and excess ozone is removed by a catalyst 47.
It was configured to purify with water. Note that the solid arrows indicate air flow. In all of the above configurations, when the blower is driven, air flows from the inlet to the outlet, and air containing malodorous components during defecation is sucked from the odor inlet. When ozone is generated, malodorous components are oxidized and removed and discharged from the outlet.

Effect of the present invention With the above-described configuration, the present invention deodorizes by physical adsorption during defecation, and for a certain period of time after the removal of the human body after defecation is detected, the ozone generated from the ozone generator is adsorbed onto the physical adsorbent and oxidation catalyst. In addition to oxidizing and deodorizing odor components, excess ozone is reduced to oxygen and returned to the toilet bowl. Even if highly concentrated ozone is released into the toilet bowl, it will be sucked in again and diluted repeatedly. Ozone is also compatible with water, so it can dissolve in the water that remains on the inside of the toilet bowl, or it can decay naturally and return to oxygen. For the above reasons, it is possible to ensure an ozone concentration that does not affect the human body. Furthermore, since contact with the human body can be avoided, the deodorizing effect can be safely exerted over a long period of time.

Next, when the human body leaves the toilet bowl 1 after using the toilet, the control unit 14 receives a signal from the occupancy detection device, and the blower 13 continues to operate for a certain period of time, and the ozone generator 9 is energized, silently and at high voltage. The odor component adsorbed by the adsorbent 10 is decomposed and activated into odorless components and trace amounts of sulfur dioxide gas and nitrogen oxides by the strong oxidizing action of ozone generated by electrical discharge or creeping discharge.

To explain the operation at the bottom of the tank, odor components adsorbed on the oxidation catalyst 20 are oxidized and deodorized by the ozone generated from the ozone generator 9, which operates only for a certain period of time after using the toilet, and unreacted excess ozone is also removed. It is reduced to oxygen and discharged from the odor discharge lower into the toilet bowl inner space 5. However, if the decomposition efficiency of residual ozone decreases for some reason, highly concentrated ozone is discharged, but since the discharge destination is inside the toilet bowl 1, it is sucked in again from the odor intake port 6 and is diluted repeatedly. . At the same time, ozone is also compatible with water, so it may dissolve in the accumulated water 14 on the inner surface of the toilet bowl 1, or it may naturally attenuate and return to oxygen. In the process, the toilet bowl inner space 5 and the toilet bowl wall surface 1a can also be sterilized.
