(Prior art) Curtains, gables, fascia, etc., which are conventionally used as exterior materials for buildings, are either made of wooden boards that have been treated with antiseptic treatment, or are made of wooden boards wrapped in iron plates. . However, these exterior materials are usually attached directly to the exterior wall or eaves of a building, and are exposed to the natural environment, so the durability of the building frame itself and the curtains, gables, fascias, etc. It also causes decay and is a cause of significantly deteriorating the aesthetic appearance of the building.

(Means for solving the problems) This invention was devised in view of the above problems.
A plate-shaped base and a hanging upper end are provided at its upper end, while a lower end is provided at the lower end with a larger apparent thickness than the plate-shaped base, and an upper surface and a lower surface are provided on the outer surface of the plate-shaped base. The object of the present invention is to provide a building exterior material in which a plurality of protrusions are formed substantially parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction on the back surface.

In other words, this building exterior material is highly durable because it is formed using an inorganic material such as asbestos cement board, wood chip cement board, wood wool cement board, glass wire board, etc., and an upper piece is provided at the upper end. This provides perfect rain protection at the attachment point to the building frame. Therefore, by using the building exterior material of the present invention, the installation work becomes simple and the durability of the building can be improved.

FIG. 1 is a partially omitted perspective view of a building exterior material 1. FIG. That is, the building exterior material 1 is formed by extruding an inorganic material such as asbestos cement, wood chip cement, wood wool cement, or glass wire from a predetermined mold into a long shape. A hook-shaped upper end part 3 is formed at the upper end of the plate-like base 2, and a lower end part 4, which has an apparent thickness larger than that of the plate-like base, is formed at the lower end. The plate-like base 2 has an outer surface 21, an upper surface 22 above the outer surface 21, and a lower end surface 23 below the outer surface 21, which are respectively set back from the outer surface 21.

On the other hand, protrusions 24, 24, . Furthermore, since the upper end of the hook-shaped upper end portion 3 is bent toward the back side, an upper piece 31 is formed on the upper surface.

In the building exterior material 1 having the above configuration,
The irregularities formed by the outer surface 21 and its upper and lower surfaces 22 and 23 form the exterior design of the exterior material itself, and also serve to hide the pegs to be described later. Further, the protrusions 24, 24, . . . formed on the back surface prevent the building exterior material 1 from warping in the longitudinal direction. Further, the hook-shaped upper end portion 3 serves as a reinforcing rib in the longitudinal direction of the exterior material 1, and the upper piece 31 serves as a rain cover.

The lower end portion 4 has an apparent thickness greater than that of the plate-like base so that when materials such as asbestos cement or wood wool cement are extruded from the formwork and dried, warping or distortion will not occur due to the difference in drying speed with other parts. It has a large cross-sectional design.

FIG. 2 is a schematic side view of a state in which the exterior covering material of the present invention is attached to the boundary between the upper and lower floors. For example, when a building frame is formed of panels 5, the building exterior material 1 is fixed as a curtain board so as to hide the boundary surfaces of the panels. A buried wood 51 is usually attached to the boundary of the panel 5. Specific fixing means include nails n, n
is applied from the surface 21 of the building exterior material 1. In addition, the nails n and n are connected to the outer surface 21, the upper surface 22, and the lower surface 2.
If the nail is driven from the stepped portion formed by 3, the nail head etc. will not be exposed on the surface, which is preferable in terms of appearance.

A waterproof tape 52 or the like is provided on the upper piece 31 of the building exterior material 1 installed as described above, and a mortar exterior material 53 is applied or sprayed onto it. Then, the upper piece 31 is not long enough to work as a construction ruler for the so-called mortar exterior material 53, but the upper piece 31 is
Together with the waterproof tape 52 disposed on the surface, the contact surface between the mortar exterior material 53 and the building exterior material 1 is completely protected from rain. Therefore, rainwater will not enter the panel 5.

On the other hand, a mortar sheathing material 54 is similarly applied or sprayed on the lower surface of the lower end portion 4, but this lower end portion 4 has a sufficient apparent thickness, so that the mortar sheathing material 54 also has a sufficient contact surface. It will be held and applied, and a perfect rain cover will be ensured between the two as well.

As a gable or fascia, for example, a connecting member 61 is provided at the tip of the roof panel 6, and the back surface of the building exterior material 1 is brought into contact with the connecting member 61 to be attached. As for the attachment method, nails n, n are used in the same manner as described above. Further, the upper side of the connecting member 61 is brought into contact with the back side of the upper piece 31 at the hook-shaped upper end portion 3. Then, a verge drainer 62 or the like is provided from above, and a roofing material 63 such as a colored vest is further laid on top of it. Therefore, in the case of a gable or a fascia, the upper piece 31 wraps around the back side of the verge drainer 62, and even if rainwater or the like is blown up, the rainwater will not intrude into the interior from above the roof panel 6. Further, since the lower end portion 4 is disposed below the eave ceiling 64, it can be sufficiently protected from rainwater blowing up.
