。Each skirt guard panel 2 has a hook 4 provided at the lower part of the back surface, and the skirt holder of the parapet frame is inserted into the angle 5, and the upper part of the skirt holder is inserted into the angle 6 and the inner deck board 7.
It is held in place with screws, etc. Adjacent skirt guard panels 2.2 are placed in close contact with each other to prevent passengers' clothes from getting caught and foreign objects from entering, and the surfaces have gaps 8 between them and the steps 1 where passengers' shoes, etc. can be drawn in. A fluororesin coating with a low coefficient of friction is applied to prevent scratches.

る事がある。(Problem to be solved by the invention) Nowadays, escalators are often installed outdoors, and as the escalators are exposed to direct sunlight, the skirt guard 3 is heated to over 60°C and is made of a thin iron plate. Because of this, a large elongation due to thermal expansion in the length direction may occur.

Furthermore, adjusting the gap to prevent this will require a lot of time for maintenance work.

Attach a patch large enough to close this gap, attach a hook to the other panel, and secure it by sandwiching the patch.

。(Function) With this structure, the elongation of the skirt guard panel is absorbed by this gap, and since the plate is sandwiched between the hooks attached to the back of the skirt guard panel, the skirt guard panel will remain in place even when it contracts. It won't come off.

The backing plate body hook 9 is attached to the center part of the upper and lower skirt holders avoiding the angle 5.6, and the backing plate 10 is sandwiched and connected.

The skirt guard 3 is constructed by arranging them one after another with a gap 11 between them.

The panels will expand and contract due to heat and cold.
Therefore, even if its length expands or contracts and the gap 11 changes, the panel 2, held between the caul plate 10 and the caul plate hook, slides and absorbs this change. With the above-mentioned configuration, the elongation of the skirt guard panel 2 will prevent adjacent panels from shifting and overlapping each other, and unevenness over the entire length will not occur.

If you decide on the total length including a certain distance or more, there will be no need to cut according to the actual item.
