Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve cooling efficiency by applying the constitution wherein a cooling air guide device is installed at the front side of a body, comprising a duct block having a front end for fitting a licence plate, and the rear portion of the license plate fitting end shrinked toward the rear side of the body in an approximately triangular form, and a wall at the outside of the duct block as a cooling air passage. CONSTITUTION:A cooling air guide device 10 is constituted with a duct block 8 of approximately triangular form having the upper apex thereof positioned at a rear side and the front end as the fitting surface 7 of a license plate 3 respectively viewed from top, and an air duct 9 having a wall outside the block B. The device 10 so constituted is positioned at the front side of a vehicle. The front opening 11 of the aforesaid air duct 9 is so formed as to be larger than the rear opening 12, and gradually shrinked toward the rear side of the body. アダクト9)との間に形成される空気通路の後部開口面
積をダクトブロック8の左右両側のものについて異なら
せ、車体2内の発熱量の多い方に対応させて開口面積の
大きい方を臨ませるとよい、またダクトブロック8と壁
(エアダクト9)との間に形成される空気通路の後部開
口面積を変えるのにダクトブロック8の平面形状を左右

口面積を変えるのにはダクトブロック8の平面形状を左
右非対称にして壁(エアダクト9)内に配置すれば冷却

分を重点的に冷却することができる。そしてダクトブロ
ックと壁との間に形成される空気通路の後部開口面積を
変えるのにダクトブロックの平面形状を左右非対称にし
たり、またダクトブロックの両側に設けられる壁の平面
形状を左右対称にしたり、さらにダクトブロックあるい
は壁に回動自在の風案内板を設けるようにしたりしたの
で、冷却風案内装置の後部開口部より吹出す冷却風の吹
出し方向を確実に変更することができその吹出し量も変
えることが可能となる。さらにこの冷却風案内装置は車
体の設計とは別に製作することができるので設計の自由
度が向上すると共に車体製作時の作業性が向上する。ま
たこの冷却風案内装置は車体とは別体に形成することが
できるので異なる車種にも適宜取付けることができる効
果を有する。
