As shown in FIG. 5, conventional spiral paper tubes are made by rotating two endless belts 2, 21 around a mandrel 1 between a pair of rollers 3, 31, 32, 33, respectively, and winding them around the mandrel 1 in a spiral shape. Paper tape T
The mandrel is manufactured by being wound more tightly with belts 2 and 21 and fed in the axial direction of the mandrel.

In the above device, when the tension of the belt is adjusted by changing the positions of the rollers 31 and 33 on the frame, the tension angle of the belt with respect to the mandrel 1 changes because the other rollers 3 and 32 are placed in fixed positions. There was a problem that the winding angle of the paper tape also changed.

Conversely, if you try to change the winding angle of the paper tape, the belt tension will also change. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust both the tension angle and the tension of the belt, and the adjustment work is troublesome.

Further, the drive mechanism for the four rollers 3 to 33 has four driven gears 61a and 61b meshing with a main gear 6a driven by a drive gear 60, and two of the driven gears 61a and 61a are connected to the positioning roller 3. , 32 are directly connected to the other two driven gears 61b, 61b, respectively.

However, when the large-diameter main gear 6a is driven by the small-diameter drive gear 60, the drive is reduced, and when the large-diameter main gear 6a is used to drive the small-diameter follower gears 61a, 61b, the drive is increased. Incorporating a speed increase mechanism and a deceleration mechanism into one rotation transmission mechanism in this way causes a large loss of mechanical power and requires a large horsepower motor.

Also, if the two belts 2 and 21 are stretched at symmetrical angles with respect to the mandrel 1, the force that wraps the paper tape around the mandrel 1 and pushes it downstream will theoretically be different between the two belts. There isn't.

Therefore, if there is no slip between the belt and the paper tape and the winding angle of the paper tape is properly set, the opening of the paper tube to be manufactured, that is, the gap between the spirally wound paper tapes should be constant. In reality, during operation, a slight difference in slip occurs between both belts and the paper tape, causing openings in the paper tube.

The paper tube manufacturing apparatus of the present application has two pairs of rollers along the mandrel, one on the inside with a mandrel 1 in between.
A device that manufactures paper tubes by winding two endless belts around a mandrel and passing them around rollers on both sides of the mandrel, and then winding the paper tape around the mandrel in a spiral as the belts rotate and pushing it out downstream. The base ends of a pair of roller support frames 5, 51 are supported on a rotary table 41 across the mandrel 1, and the distal ends of the roller support frames 5, 51 are provided so as to be openable and closable. On the end side, there are first and third rollers 3, 32 on the center of rotation.
is arranged to connect the first and third rollers 3, 32 to a common drive wheel 6, and the distal end side of each roller support frame 5, 51 is movable in the longitudinal direction of the frame 5, 51. 2nd and 4th rollers 31 and 33 are arranged at the frame tip.
33 is characterized in that it rotates simultaneously in conjunction with the first and third rollers 3 and 32 at the base end of each frame, respectively.

A pair of rollers 3, 31, 3 on the same frame
By tensioning the belts 2 and 21 on the mandrels 2 and 33, even if the opening angle of the frames 5 and 51 is changed and the tension angle of the belt relative to the mandrel is adjusted,
The distance between the rollers 3, 31, 32, 33 does not change and therefore the tension of the belt does not change and readjustment of the tension is not necessary. Conversely, even if the tension is adjusted, the tension angle of the belt does not change, so there is no need to adjust the tension angle every time the tension is changed.

Since it is only necessary to engage the two driven wheels 61, 61 of the first and third rollers 3, 32 with the driving wheel 6,

Furthermore, by slightly rotating the rotary table 41, the angles of the support frames 5, 51 and thus both belts 2, 21 can be stretched at an asymmetrical angle with respect to the mandrel 1.
By making the angle of the second belt 21 smaller than the angle of the first belt 2 with respect to the mandrel 1, the extrusion speed of the paper tape by the second belt 21 is lowered than that of the first belt 2, and between both belts 2 and 21. A force is applied to reduce the gap between the paper tapes T,
This has the advantage of preventing gaps between the paper tapes, or so-called openings.

1. Two pairs of rollers are placed along the mandrel, with one roller set on the inside of the mandrel 1, and two endless belts are wound around the mandrel and passed over the rollers on both sides of the mandrel. In this device, a pair of roller support frames 5, 5 straddles a mandrel 1, and a paper tube is manufactured by winding the paper spirally around a mandrel and extruding it downstream.
The base end of the roller supporting frame 5, 51 is rotatably supported on the rotary table 41, and the distal end sides of the roller support frames 5, 51 are provided so as to be openable and closable. rollers 3 and 32 are arranged and the first and third rollers 3 and 32 are connected to a common drive wheel 6;
Further, second and fourth rollers 31 and 33 are disposed on the distal end side of each roller support frame 5 and 51 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the frames 5 and 51. , 33 is a spiral paper tube manufacturing device that rotates simultaneously in conjunction with the first and third rollers 3 and 32 at the base end of each frame.
