本発明は新規な粘着テープに関し、更に詳しくは、横切
れ性を備えた粘着テープに関するものである.
(従来技術と問題点)
今日、汎用されている粘着テープは祇基材の片面にポリ
エチレンラミネート層と剥離剤層を設けるとともに、他
面に粘着剤層を設けた構造のものが一般的である.
このような構造の粘着テープはロール状のテープよりテ
ープ先端を引き出して所定の場所に貼着した後、通常手
により横方向にち切るという動作を伴って使用されてい
るが、所謂手切れ性が悪く、その切断方向は一定でなく
、貼着した粘着テープ側の切り口も、ロール状テープ側
の切り口も全く不定形で極めて外観が悪い.手でち切る
代わりにハサミやカッターを用いれば切り口は綺麗にな
るが、ハサミ等の使用は面倒であり、作業性の低下は避
けられない.
この問題を解消せんとして、一定間隔毎にミノン目を刻
設する方法が行われているが、ミシン目の凹凸のために
ロール状の巻き形態が悪くなるばかりでなく、設備費も
無視できない.一方、一軸延伸フィルム(横延伸フィル
ム)を紙基材に貼合して横切れ性を付与する方法がある
が、貼合剤の接着性が悪いと、フィルム又は紙基材のい
ずれかが切れても他方が切れずに残ったり、またカール
