PURPOSE:To produce an artificial milk composition for domestic animal and poultry having improved palatability by compounding a 5'-nucleotide to a basic feed. CONSTITUTION:A conventional basic feed composed of wheat flour, defatted milk powder, fish meal, oil and fat, vitamins, etc., is compounded with (A) 0.03-1wt.% each of one or more kinds of 5'-nucleotides selected from 5'-guanylic acid, 5'-inosinic acid, 5'-uridinic acid, 5'-cytidylic acid and 5'-adenylic acid and, as necessary, (B) 0.1-20wt.% of yeast extract preferably containing 10-45wt.% of oligopeptide.

ことが一般的になっている。このような目的に使用され
る人工乳は脱脂粉乳、小麦粉等を主体としたものである
為、嗜好性に問題があり、摂餌量が少なく、発育に難点
がある。

重量%ずつが、またオリゴペプチドの場合には10〜4
5%の範囲が適当である。また飼料に対する酵母エキス
の添加率としては0.1〜20%の範囲が適当である。
