Abstract

PURPOSE:To compare an image of an object corresponding to an image pickup signal to be recorded next with a picture corresponding to an image pickup signal already recorded by providing plural electronic view finders arranged adjacent with each other. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup signal outputted from an image pickup section 1 is inputted to a 1st electronic view finder 3, and the finder 3 acts like a view finder for displaying the image of an object picked up at present. The image pickup signal recorded already and reproduced by a recording and reproducing section 2 is inputted to a 2nd electronic view finder 4, which acts like an electronic view finder to display a picture corresponding to the pickup signal recorded already. For example, as shown in figure, when a portrait represented by the picture corresponding to the image pickup signal recorded already is picked up to be small and when a portrait represented by the picture corresponding to the image pickup signal recorded next is picked up to be large, a photographer takes ease of simultaneous comparison and collation of the both as shown in the finders 3, 4.

As mentioned above, in the case of a camera-integrated VTR, the image corresponding to the recorded image signal can be immediately displayed by the electronic viewfinder, but as mentioned above, the conventional camera-type VTR can display the image corresponding to the recorded image signal immediately using the electronic viewfinder. Since it has only one camera, it is not possible to simultaneously observe the image corresponding to the already recorded photographic signal and the image corresponding to the next photographic signal to be recorded, and the scene change timing and composition cannot be observed at the same time. It was difficult to make a decision.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned situation, and allows the operator to easily combine a target subject image corresponding to a photographing signal that the operator intends to record next with an image corresponding to an already recorded photographing signal. The purpose is to provide an imaging signal recording and reproducing device that can be compared.

Reference numeral 1 denotes an imaging section consisting of a photographing lens and a video camera; 2 a recording/reproducing section; 3 and 4 a plurality of (two in this embodiment) electronic viewfinders arranged adjacent to each other; A first electronic viewfinder, 4 is a second electronic viewfinder. The imaging signal output from the imaging unit 1 is input manually to the electronic viewfinder 3, so that the electronic viewfinder 3 functions as an electronic viewfinder for displaying the image of the subject currently being photographed. The already recorded image pickup signal to be reproduced is manually input to the electronic viewfinder 4, so that the electronic viewfinder 4 functions as an electronic viewfinder for displaying an image corresponding to the already recorded image pickup signal.

For example, as shown in FIG. 1, when photographing a person's image, the image of the person represented by the image corresponding to the image signal that has already been recorded is small, and the image of the person represented by the image corresponding to the image signal to be recorded next is small. An example of when trying to take a larger picture will be explained.

Incidentally, the electronic viewfinders 3 and 4 are respectively connected to the first
This is equivalent to the electronic viewfinder 3.4 in the figure. For example, when panoramic photography is performed by transitioning using alignment marks 5 as shown in FIG. 2, an image corresponding to an already recorded image signal and an image to be recorded next. It is possible to directly compare the image corresponding to the signal, and furthermore, by using the alignment mark 5, it is possible to easily adjust the overlap of the joint portion, the vertical shift, etc.
