[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to the joint structure of architectural wall base materials.
More specifically, at the joints of the wall base material stretched between structural members, a sealing material made of a foam having discontinuous pores is clamped inside the spaces of the joints, and the sealant is applied to the joints. Eliminate wilting and thinning of the caulking material applied to fully demonstrate the sealing effect such as waterproofing at the joints of the wall base material, and eliminate complaints such as cracks occurring after applying the exterior finish material. That is.

Conventionally, in the joints of wall base materials, it has been common practice to configure the abutting end surfaces of the wall base materials to form approximately V-shaped grooves, and to fill the joint grooves with caulking material.

However, depending on the material and coating thickness of the finishing material applied to the top surface of the wall base material, the coloring of the caulking material itself may stand out on the finished surface, or the caulking material itself may wither. Due to thinning and thinning, sufficient sealing effect could not be achieved.

Furthermore, the caulking material is often exposed over a wide area on the surface of the base material on both sides of the joint, and as a result, there is a difference in strength between the adhesion between the wall base material and the finishing material, and the adhesion between the caulking material and the finishing material. This difference in adhesion strength has resulted in cracks and peeling of the exterior finishing material at the joints.

As one means to solve the above problem, a method was adopted in which the end surfaces of wall base materials were simply butted together without providing a V-shaped joint groove, but the caulking material interposed between these end surfaces was adopted. The sealing of the joints was not always stable due to the caulking material being locally extruded or due to non-uniformity of the caulking material layer. Therefore, the existence of these joints degrades the waterproof performance of the entire wall.

Therefore, the present invention has been developed to solve the above problems, and uses a foam material having discontinuous pores in the joint area where the end surfaces of architectural wall base materials are butted together and has a space inside the space. The outline of the method is to clamp the sealant, thereby providing a joint structure with a high sealing effect.

On the other hand, the sealing material 3 is a foamed body 31 with adhesive materials 32, 32 provided on both sides, and is a long material corresponding to the length of the joint portion 2.

Therefore, the sealing material 3 is placed between the abutting end surfaces 14, 14, and when the wall base materials 1, 1 are abutted against each other, the sealing material 3 is clamped in the joint space H having a substantially diamond-shaped cross section.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the sealing material 3. In this sealing material 3, one side is adhered in advance to one abutting end surface 14 of the wall base material 1, and adhesive is applied only to the other side. 32 is to be attached.

In this way, the sealing material 3 is arranged in the joint space H of the joint portion 2, and as shown in FIG. In this case, unlike the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the sealing material is provided in advance, making the construction easier.

Therefore, the airtightness of the sealing material 3 itself clamped in the space H of this joint part, and furthermore, the adhesive material 3

Furthermore, due to the existence of this joint space H, the central part in the thickness direction of the sealing material 3 is sandwiched with more margin than the upper and lower parts. In other words, the upper and lower parts are tightly clamped. Yotsute sealing material 3
It has a structure that does not lose its elasticity over time and can provide a sufficient sealing effect for many years.

Furthermore, even if there is no adhesive on the surface of the sealant 3 or if it is damaged during construction, the position to be fixed can be determined easily, and a stable waterproof function can be achieved.

If the waterproof layers 16, 16 are provided, there is no need to provide an adhesive material on both sides of the sealant 3 as described above, and the sealant 3 can be applied to the wall base materials 1, 1 through the waterproof layers 16, 16. Butt end surface 14,1
It will be securely clamped in the joint space H of No. 4.

In other words, the joint structure shown in FIG. 4 does not have a length that further enhances the sealing effect of the joint portion, but rather ensures waterproofness at the abutting end surfaces 14, 14, so that the substrate 11, which is caused by water permeation from the end surfaces, etc. The structure is also highly effective against corrosion, etc. of No. 11.

FIG. 5 shows still another embodiment,
This joint structure has recesses 15, 15 in the end faces 14, 14 of the wall base materials 1, 1 where they meet so that the cross section of the joint space H continuous with the waterproof layers 13, 13 has a substantially rhombic shape. Form deeply. Due to the existence of this joint space H, in the case of the type of bubble sealant whose waterproof effect weakens when it is excessively compressed, the waterproof effect does not decrease, but rather a continuous waterproof membrane consisting of waterproof layer 13, sealant 3, and waterproof layer 13 is formed. This will result in a stable configuration.

As described above, the joint structure of the wall base material of the present invention has a sealing material made of a foam with discontinuous pores clamped inside the space of the butted end faces, so the elasticity of the foam Close contact with the butt end surfaces is always maintained, and the foam itself is made up of discontinuous pores, so even if there are slight variations during construction, the joint as a whole remains waterproof, soundproof, and
Furthermore, it can exhibit a perfect sealing effect, such as preventing the intrusion of ventilation dust and the like.
