(Prior Art) In general, many of the empty cans manufactured by can manufacturing companies (can factories) are used for packaging, transportation, etc.
From the viewpoint of workability in canning work, etc., referring to FIG. 7, a pallet 100 that can be transported by a forklift is
A predetermined number of empty cans 101 are arranged in multiple rows and rows on the top, and the same number of empty cans 101 are further arranged with the partition plate 102 in between, and this is repeated to form groups of empty cans in several stages (usually 15 to 19 stages). E are stacked, a holding plate 103 is placed on top of the group of empty cans on the top tier, a cable tie 104 is passed between the holding plate 103 and the pallet 100 to bind them together, and finally a shrink film 10 is placed from above.
5, the entire empty can is wrapped, and the shrink film 105 is heat-shrinked to prevent the empty can 101 from being damaged and to prevent dirt, dust, insects, etc. from entering the empty can 101. and then sent to canning companies (canning factories).

The above steps of arranging empty can groups, inserting support rods, advancing the aligned empty can groups onto a pallet and stacking them, lowering the hoist, and placing partition plates are repeated to form empty cans in a predetermined arrangement. After stacking the group E a predetermined number of stages, place the empty cans group E on the top row.
After placing a cover plate 106 made of paperboard and a press plate 103 made of plastic or the like that is slightly larger than the vertical and horizontal lengths of the empty can group E (the press plate 103 is placed on the cover plate 106), the hoist is further lowered. , a pallet 100 stacked with empty cans E is placed on a pair of chain conveyors, the pair of chain conveyors are driven to carry out the pallet 100 from the palletizer section, and then the pallet 100 is transferred to another pair of chain conveyors, etc. It is transferred to the band machine section by the conveying means of

In the empty can discharging section, first, the multi-tiered empty cans are raised by a lifter until the lower end of the topmost can matches the height of the net conveyor in front of the empty can discharging section. (By interlocking with the device, the ascent can be stopped automatically.) Next, after the partition plate 102 on which the empty cans on the top tier are held is held by the partition plate holding device (usually 2 ), the cover plates 106 placed on the empty cans are removed by a partition plate removal device (e.g., a device with a vacuum suction) and stacked in the partition plate collection area, and further in the horizontal direction of the empty can group E. An empty can discharging device having a pushing plate longer than the length pushes the empty cans at the rear end of the empty can group E forward, and discharges the uppermost empty can group E onto the front net conveyor.

After that, the lifter is raised again, and the lower end of the empty can group E, which is the next highest stage, is aligned with the height of the net conveyor in front of the empty can discharge section, and then the partition plate on which this empty can is placed is placed. After the partition plate 102 is held by the partition plate holding device, the partition plate 102 placed on the top empty can group E (the top empty can group E of the package before disassembly and the next empty can group) The partition plate between E and E is removed by the partition plate removing device, and the empty cans in the top row are placed on the front net conveyor by the empty can discharging device.

In particular, in the latter case, multi-tiered empty can packages are transported by forklift, truck, etc. from a can manufacturing factory to a canning factory, and are subjected to considerable vibration during transportation.
Furthermore, since it may be subjected to rough handling, the stacking may be too high, the binding of the cable ties 104 may be weak, the thickness of the shrink film 105 may be thin, or the degree of shrinkage of the shrink film 105 may be small. If these factors are combined, the packaging may be tilted, or the empty cans in the front row (the empty cans forming the outermost row on all four sides) of each of the four stacked tiers may Since the canner will arrive at the cannery in a disordered arrangement, when the shrink film 105 is peeled off and transported (when it starts moving and when it stops), it is necessary to The cans tend to fall, and then the empty cans in the front row on all four sides tend to fall.

Normally, only the empty cans on the top and next tiers fall, but if the degree of inclination of the package is large and the direction of this inclination coincides with the moving direction of the conveyor, empty cans in the lower tiers will also fall. It may fall.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and is intended to prevent empty cans from falling during the formation and disassembly of multi-tiered empty can packages. To achieve this objective, the present invention arranges a pallet placed at the bottom of a multi-tier stack of empty cans and empty cans for canning, and aligns the empty cans stacked on the pallet. a group, and a partition plate having a length slightly larger than the vertical and horizontal lengths of the group of empty cans and disposed adjacent to the top and bottom of the group of empty cans to be stacked;
a holding plate having length and width approximately equal to the partition plate and placed from above the group of empty cans in the uppermost tier; and a binding band that is stretched between the holding plate and the pallet to bind the multi-tiered empty cans. , a shrink film that is placed over the bound state of the binding band and tightly covers the entire multi-tiered empty cans by heat shrinkage;
In the multi-tiered empty can package, the partition plate on which at least the uppermost group of empty cans is placed is placed on at least two opposing edge portions of the partition plate, and A bent partition plate is formed with an upwardly bent portion so that the empty cans arranged in the front row can be placed in an inwardly inclined state by partially placing the empty cans thereon.

The bending angle θ1 by hand or machine is
The angle was approximately 15 degrees to approximately 40 degrees in the no-load state where empty can group E is not placed (Fig. 3), but in the loaded state, the angle is almost constant due to band binding, etc., which has little relation to the angle in the no-load state. The bending angle θ2 (approximately 6
degree) (Fig. 4). Of course, if the material and thickness of the partition plate are different, the bending angle θ in the no-load state may vary.
Even if 1 is the same, the bending angle θ2 in the loaded state will be different. The key is to make the bending angle θ2 greater than 0 in the loaded state.

In addition, the reason why this folding partition plate 5 is used only at the position where the top empty can group E1 is placed in the embodiment is because the top empty can group E1 is most likely to fall. Not limited to this embodiment, depending on various situations, such as increasing the number of stacked tiers or reliably preventing empty cans from falling, multiple tiers such as the top tier, second tier, third tier, etc. The bent partition plates 5 may be used, or all the partition plates may be bent partition plates 5.

In addition, in this example, the orientation of the package with respect to the traveling direction of the multi-tiered empty can packaging body forming line of the can manufacturing factory, and the orientation of the packaging body with respect to the advancing direction of the multi-tiered empty can packaging body disassembly line of the cannery are as follows. If the empty cans differ by 90 degrees (i.e., the empty cans that were in the front row or the last row during the package forming process will be in the rightmost or leftmost column during the package disassembly process; This is particularly effective when the empty cans that were in the row or the leftmost row become the front row or the last row during the dismantling of the packages. There is an advantage in that deformation of the flange portions of empty cans (empty cans forming the outermost rows on all four sides) can be prevented during arranging operations.
