CONSTITUTION:The end edge 1a of the first panel 1 is wound round the end edge of the second panel 2 through a film-like rust preventive agent 3 and folded back to be joined. At the time of thus rust preventing the hemming joint portion, first of all, a rust preventive material 3 comprising a rust preventive agent layer 3a and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 3b is wound and stuck to the end edge 1a of the first panel 1, and the end edge 3c is projected over the first panel end edge 1a. を各々単品でプレス成形した後、第3図すに示すように
アウタパネル1に防錆シークaをビード状に塗布し、次
に第3図Cに示すようにアウタパネルlにインナパネル
2を重合して第3図dのようにヘミング加工を行う。そ
の後前処理及び電着塗装が施され、さらに第3図eのよ
うにアウタパネル1の端縁1aにボデーシラー しかしながら、ヘミング接合部を防錆シークによって完
全に充填するため、塗布量が多すぎると、ヘミング加工
時に防錆シークaがはみ出し、後工程においてボデーシ
ラーbを塗布する際、ンーリングガンをアウタパネルl
の端縁1aに沿って移動させるため、防錆シークaのは
み出し部がしゃまになり端縁1aからはずれる虞れがあ
り、また防錆シークaの塗布量が少ない場合には、ヘミ
ング接合部内部を完全に充填することができず充分な防
錆効果が得られないばかりでなく、防錆7−ラaとボデ
ーシークl)との間に残在した空気が焼付塗装時に膨張
し、ボデーシーク6面にふくれが発生し、著しい場合に
はボデーシー96部に穴があくなとの不具合があった。

ィルム状防錆剤4を第4図aに示すようにインナパネル
2の端縁2aに巻回貼付してこの防錆剤4を貼付したイ
ンナパネル2にアウタパネル1を重合し、この状態で第
4図すに示すようにアウタパネル1の端縁1aが防錆剤
4の膨出部4bに埋め込まれるようにヘミング加工を施
し、しかる後前処理、電着塗装工程における焼付加熱に
より第4図Cに示すように防錆剤4を硬化させアウタパ
ネル1の端縁1aをも防錆剤4により被覆している。

4bを有することから特殊な成形型を要し、生産性が悪
く、コストの高騰を招く等の不具合がある。

い、しかる後前処理、電着塗装工程における焼付加熱に
より前記防錆剤を硬化せしめるものである。

シ樹脂系材料の外にウレタン、塩化ビニル等の樹脂であ
ってもよいが、接合部の強度向上及びスポット溶接を施
す場合等を考慮するとエポキシ樹脂系であることが望ま
しい。また粘着剤層3bの材料としては、ゴム系、アク
リル系、シリコン系の樹脂であってもよいが、油面定着
性や耐久性を考慮すると前述のアクリル樹脂系であるこ
とが望ましい。

全充填が図れ充分な防錆効果が図れるとともに、フィル
ム状防錆剤が平坦であることから、生産性が高く安価に
製品が得られる等の効果がある。

かる後前処理、電着塗装工程における焼付加熱により前
記防錆剤を硬化せしめることを特徴とするヘミング接合
部の防錆方法。
